The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

天上的星辰不再發光，太陽剛出來就變黑，月亮也暗淡無光。

太陽要變得昏暗，月亮要變得血紅。在耶和華偉大而可畏的日子來臨以前，這些事都會發生。

所到之處，天搖地動，日月昏暗，星辰無光。

第一位天使吹響號角的時候，冰雹和火攙雜著血從天上傾盆而下。地的三分之一、樹木的三分之一和一切的青草都被燒毀了。第二位天使吹號的時候，一座好像燃燒的大山被丟進海裡。海洋的三分之一變成了血，海中的活物死了三分之一，船隻也被毀了三分之一。第三位天使吹號的時候，有一顆好像火炬般燃燒著的巨星從天上墜落在三分之一的江河溪流和水泉裡。這顆星名叫「苦艾」，它使三分之一的水都變苦了，許多人因為喝了這種苦水而死去。第四位天使吹號的時候，太陽、月亮和星辰的三分之一都受到重擊，以致失去了光輝，於是日間的三分之一黯淡無光，夜間也是如此。

日月昏暗，星辰無光。

地上三分之二的人必遭剷除、毀滅，只剩下三分之一的人存活。這是耶和華說的。我必使這三分之一的人受到火一般的考驗；我必像熬煉銀子一樣熬煉他們，像試煉金子一樣試煉他們。他們必呼求我的名，我必回應他們。我必說，『這是我的子民。』他們必說，『耶和華是我們的上帝。』」

耶和華對摩西說：「你向天伸杖，使埃及全境漆黑一片，那黑暗濃得甚至可以摸到。」摩西向天伸杖，埃及全境便漆黑了三天之久。埃及人彼此看不見，誰也不敢移動半步。可是，以色列人住的地方卻有光。法老把摩西召來，對他說：「去吧，帶著你們的婦女和孩子去事奉耶和華吧，但你們要把牛羊留下。」摩西回答說：「你要讓我們帶走牛羊，因為牠們是獻給我們上帝耶和華的祭物和燔祭牲。我們要帶走所有的牲畜，一隻蹄子也不留下，因為我們要從其中選一些來獻給我們的上帝耶和華。我們抵達目的地前，還不知道把哪些獻給祂。」但耶和華使法老的心剛硬，不肯讓以色列百姓離開。法老對摩西說：「給我滾出去！不要再讓我見到你，因為你再見我面之日必死。」摩西回答說：「你說得好，我必不再見你的面。」

羔羊揭開第六印的時候，我看見大地震發生了，太陽變得像黑毛布一樣黑，整個月亮變成血紅色，

他來要按照撒旦的伎倆行各樣虛假的異能、神蹟和奇事，用盡各樣詭計欺騙那些將要滅亡的人，因為他們不喜歡接受那能拯救他們的真理。上帝就讓他們是非不辨，去相信那些虛假的謊言，使一切不相信真理、反喜愛不義的人都被定罪。

那四個天使就被釋放了，他們為了此年、此月、此日、此刻已經預備好了，要殺掉人類的三分之一。

「當災難的日子一過，『太陽變黑，月亮無光，眾星隕落，天體震動。』

正午時分，黑暗籠罩著整個大地，一直到下午三點。

「日月星辰必顯出異兆，怒海洶湧、波濤翻騰，令各國驚恐不安。

那時大約是正午，黑暗籠罩著整個大地，一直到下午三點，太陽黯然無光。忽然掛在聖殿裡的幔子從中間裂成兩半。

「大災難過後，太陽昏暗，月亮無光，

牠的尾巴將天上三分之一的星掃落到地上。巨龍站在那正要生產的婦人面前，等著要吃掉她生下來的嬰孩。

從正午一直到下午三點，黑暗籠罩著整個大地。

馬口中噴出的這三樣災害殺死了世上三分之一的人口。

那時，月亮必羞於露面，太陽必黯然無光，因為萬軍之耶和華必在錫安山，在耶路撒冷掌權，在祂子民的首領面前彰顯榮耀。

太陽要變得昏暗，月亮要變得血紅。這都要發生在主偉大榮耀的日子來臨以前。

第四位天使將碗倒在太陽上，太陽就變得炙熱如火，可以灼傷人。人們被炙熱灼傷，就褻瀆掌管這些災禍的上帝的名，他們毫無悔意，不肯歸榮耀給上帝。

我俯瞰大地，一片空虛混沌；我仰望天空，毫無亮光。

當我消滅你的時候，我要用雲遮蔽天空，使日月無光，星辰昏暗。我要遮蔽天上所有的光，使黑暗籠罩你的四境。這是主耶和華說的。

主耶和華說：「到那日，我要使太陽中午落下，使白晝變為黑暗。

那些不信的人是被這世界的神弄瞎了心眼，以致看不見基督榮耀的福音之光。基督是上帝的本像。
