利亞的兒子是雅各的長子如便，還有西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、西布倫。

那被擊殺的以色列人、就是那和米甸女人一同被擊殺的、名叫心利，是撒路的兒子，是西緬人之中一個父系家屬的首領。

猶大對他哥哥西緬說：『請同我上去、到我拈鬮可得的地去，我們好和迦南人交戰；以後我也可以同你到你拈鬮可得的地去』；於是西緬和他同去。

屬西緬子孫的：他們的後代、按宗族、按父系家屬、根據人名的數目、按人丁被點閱的是一切男的、從二十歲和以上、凡能出去打仗的；

她又懷孕生子，就說：『如今這一次、我丈夫必同我聯合了，因為我給他生了三個兒子了』；因此她給孩子起名叫利未。

利亞說：『上帝給了我工價，因為我把婢女給了我丈夫』；於是她給孩子起名叫以薩迦。

西緬和利未是弟兄；他們的刀劍是強暴之器械。

第二鬮是給西緬、給西緬人支派、按家族拈出的；他們的產業是在猶大人的產業中間。

第四鬮是給以薩迦人按家族拈出的。

猶大把驢駒拴在葡萄樹旁，把母驢的崽子拴在上好的葡萄樹旁；他在酒中洗淨服裝，在血紅葡萄汁中洗了袍褂：
