For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple, and the one seated on the throne will shelter them.

Therefore,“ they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence.

So“ they are in front of the throne of God. They serve him day and night in his temple. The one who sits on the throne will be with them to keep them safe.

And there will no longer be any curse, and the throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will worship him,

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying:“ Look! The residence of God is among human beings. He will live among them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them.He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any more– or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the former things have ceased to exist.”

Then the LORD will create over all of Mount Zion and over its convocations a cloud and smoke by day and a bright flame of fire by night; indeed a canopy will accompany the LORD’s glorious presence.By day it will be a shelter to provide shade from the heat, as well as safety and protection from the heavy downpour.

For David said,“ The LORD God of Israel has given his people rest and has permanently settled in Jerusalem.

Now the Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We saw his glory– the glory of the one and only, full of grace and truth, who came from the Father.

Night will be no more, and they will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.

I will live among the Israelites and will not abandon my people Israel.”

In a circle around the throne were twenty- four other thrones, and seated on those thrones were twenty- four elders. They were dressed in white clothing and had golden crowns on their heads.

Why do you look with envy, O mountains with many peaks, at the mountain where God has decided to live? Indeed the LORD will live there permanently!God has countless chariots; they number in the thousands. The Lord comes from Sinai in holy splendor.You ascend on high, you have taken many captives. You receive tribute from men, including even sinful rebels. Indeed the LORD God lives there!

Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?

keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set out for him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.

Then the temple of God in heaven was opened and the ark of his covenant was visible within his temple. And there were flashes of lightning, roaring, crashes of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.

And what mutual agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, just as God said,“ I will live in them and will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

After these things I looked, and here was an enormous crowd that no one could count, made up of persons from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb dressed in long white robes, and with palm branches in their hands.

Attention! Praise the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, who serve in the LORD’s temple during the night.Lift your hands toward the sanctuary and praise the LORD!

Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We have such a high priest, one who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,

and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one was able to learn the song except the one hundred and forty- four thousand who had been redeemed from the earth.These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from humanity as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb,and no lie was found on their lips; they are blameless.

I will reside among the Israelites, and I will be their God,

And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are too, and they will be tormented there day and night forever and ever.
