對曰、吾子自知之、曰、彼脫大難、賴羔流血、曾滌厥衣、至於潔白、

對曰、我主自知之、曰、彼經歷大難而來、曾以羔之血滌其衣、而衣潔白、

予應之曰：「公自知之。」渠乃語予曰：若輩來自憂患中、備嘗艱辛、曾藉羔羊之血、自濯其袍、所服皜皜乎不可尚已；

I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” Then he told me: These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

I said to him,“ My lord, you know.” And he said to me,“ These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

So I said to him,“ My lord, you know the answer.” Then he said to me,“ These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb!

I told him,“ My lord, you know.” He said to me,“ These are those who came out of the great suffering. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb’s blood.

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying,“ Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said,“ See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.”And I said,“ Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.

“ Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord,“ Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

And they sang a new song, saying:“ You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

“ In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

Peter said to Him,“ You shall never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him,“ If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.”Simon Peter said to Him,“ Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!”Jesus said to him,“ He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you.”For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said,“ You are not all clean.”So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them,“ Do you know what I have done to you?You call me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying,“ We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

“ I know your works, tribulation, and poverty( but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.

I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure,

When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.And they cried with a loud voice, saying,“ How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

And he cast for it four rings of gold to be set in its four corners: two rings on one side, and two rings on the other side of it.
