眾天神環繞寶座及諸老四靈物而立者、至是悉皆俯伏座前、頂禮天主曰：

二十四位長老總俯伏在坐寶座者面前，敬拜那永遠活着、世世無窮的，總把他們的華冠丟在寶座前，說：

寶座前好像玻璃海，彷彿水晶一般。寶座四圍、在寶座每一面當中、有一隻活物，四面共四隻，前後滿有眼睛。

我又看，就聽見寶座活物和長老的四圍、有許多天使的聲音；他們的數目有千千萬萬。他們直大聲說：『被屠宰的羔羊是配得權能、豐富、智慧、力量、尊貴、榮耀、祝頌的。』我聽見在天上、地上、地底下和洋海裏一切被創造之物、以及天地間的萬有、都一直說：『願祝頌、尊貴、榮耀、權勢、歸於坐寶座的和羔羊、世世無窮。』

寶座周圍有二十四個座位；有二十四位長老坐在座位上；身披白衣，頭戴金華冠。

那些在上帝面前、坐在他們座位上的二十四位長老、都面伏於地、敬拜上帝

二十四位長老和四活物就俯伏敬拜那坐寶座的上帝，說：『阿們！哈利路亞！』就有聲音從寶座上發出、說：『上帝的眾僕人哪，一切敬畏他的、小的大的、你們都頌讚我們的上帝哦！』我聽見有聲音、彷彿是極大羣人的聲音、彷彿眾水之聲音、彷彿強有力之雷的聲音、說：『哈利路亞！主我們的上帝、全能者、掌王權了！

耶穌對他說：『撒但退去！因為有記着說：「要拜主你的上帝，單單事奉他。」』

他對我說：『千萬不可；我和你同你的弟兄、那些神言人和那些執守這書上話語的人、都是同做僕人的；你只要敬拜上帝。』

再者，上帝把首生者引到天下來的時候，他卻說：『上帝的眾使者都要敬拜他』。

叫人都尊敬子，像尊敬父一樣。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬差他的父。

你們做他的天使的、大有能力、行他所吩咐的、聽他吩咐之聲音的、都要祝頌永恆主！你們做他的萬軍的、做他的僕役、行他所喜悅的、都要祝頌永恆主！

王愛慕你的美麗；因為他是你的主上；你要崇拜他。

主啊，誰敢不敬畏你，不榮耀你的名呢？惟獨你是聖義的，萬國都必來、在你面前下拜，因為你公義的作為顯明出來了。』

願一切服事雕像的都抱愧，願那靠偶相而自誇的、都蒙羞；萬神都敬拜他。

哈利路亞！你們要從天上頌讚永恆主，在高天頌讚他！他的眾使者啊，你們要頌讚他！他的萬軍哪，你們要頌讚他！
