眾天使立於寶座與諸長老暨四活物之四圍、俯伏寶座前、崇拜天主、曰、

眾天神環繞寶座及諸老四靈物而立者、至是悉皆俯伏座前、頂禮天主曰：

二十四位長老就俯伏在坐在寶座上那一位的面前，敬拜那活到永永遠遠的，又把他們的冠冕放在寶座前，說：

寶座前有一個看來好像水晶的玻璃海。在寶座中間和寶座周圍有四個活物，前後布滿了眼睛。

我又觀看，聽見了千千萬萬天使的聲音，他們都在寶座、活物和長老的四周，大聲說：“被殺的羊羔是配得權能、豐富、智慧、力量、尊貴、榮耀、頌讚的！”我又聽見在天上、地上、地底下和海裡的一切被造之物，以及天地間的萬有，都說：“願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀、能力，都歸給坐在寶座上的那一位和羊羔，直到永永遠遠！”

寶座的周圍有二十四個座位，上面坐著二十四位長老，身穿白衣，頭戴金冠。

那在神面前，坐在自己座位上的二十四位長老，都面伏在地上敬拜神，

那二十四位長老和四個活物，就俯伏敬拜那坐在寶座上的神，說：“阿們！哈利路亞！”接著有聲音從寶座發出來，說：“所有神的僕人哪！凡是敬畏他的，無論大小，你們都應當讚美我們的神！”我又聽見一個聲音，好像一大群人的聲音，像眾水的聲音，又像大雷的聲音，說：“哈利路亞！因為主、我們全能的神作王了！

但耶穌說：“撒但，走開！經上記著：‘當拜主你的神，單要事奉他。’”

他對我說：“千萬不可以這樣！我和你，以及你的弟兄眾先知，還有那些遵守這書上的話的人，都是同作僕人的。你應當敬拜神。”

神差遣長子到世上來的時候，又說：“神所有的天使都要拜他。”

使所有的人尊敬子好像尊敬父一樣。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬那差他來的父。

你們作他天使的，就是那些大有能力，行他所吩咐，以及聽從他命令的，都要稱頌耶和華。你們作他的眾軍，作他的僕役，遵行他旨意的，都要稱頌耶和華。

王就愛慕你的美麗；因為他是你的主，你要向他俯伏。

主啊！誰敢不敬畏你，不榮耀你的名呢？因為只有你是神聖的，萬國都要來，在你面前下拜，因為你公義的作為已經顯明出來了。”

願所有事奉雕刻的偶像的，以虛無的偶像為誇口的，都蒙羞；眾神哪！你們都要拜他。

你們要讚美耶和華。你們要從天上讚美耶和華，在高天讚美他。他的眾使者啊！你們要讚美他；他的眾軍啊！你們也要讚美他。
