Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.

我在夜間觀看，看哪，有一個人騎著紅色的馬，站在深谷裡的桃金娘樹中間！在他後面還有紅色、栗色、白色的馬。

不要以為我來了，是給地上帶來和平。我來並不是帶來和平，而是刀劍，

如果有人註定被擄，他就會被擄去；如果有人註定被刀殺，他就會被刀殺。聖徒們的忍耐和信仰，就在這裡。

隨後，天上出現了另一個徵兆：看哪，一條火紅色的巨龍，有七個頭和十隻角，七個頭上戴著七個王冠。

耶和華啊，求你起來，迎面抵擋他們，使他們屈服！求你用你的刀劍，挽救我的性命脫離惡人！

於是我在靈裡被天使帶到曠野。隨後，我看見一個女人騎在一隻深紅色的獸上，這獸有七個頭，十隻角，遍體布滿了褻瀆的名號。

隨後，我看見那女人喝醉了聖徒們的血，以及為耶穌做見證之人的血。我看到她就大大驚奇。

因著神所賜給他的權勢，所有的民族、國家、語言群體都在他面前戰兢恐懼；他想要殺誰就殺誰，想要讓誰活就讓誰活，想要高舉誰就高舉誰，想要降卑誰就降卑誰。

王啊，你是王中之王！天上的神把國度、權能、力量和尊榮都賜給了你，也把世人、田野的走獸、天空的飛鳥，無論住在哪裡，都交在你的手中，讓你統轄這一切；你就是那金的頭。

耶穌回答：「如果權柄不是從上面賜給你的，你就對我沒有任何權柄。所以，把我交給你的人有更大的罪。」

禍哉！亞述，我怒氣的棍！他們手中的杖就是我的憤怒。我要派遣他去攻擊一個不敬虔的國家，吩咐他去攻打我所惱怒的子民，擄財掠貨，踐踏他們，如同踐踏街上的泥土。

我從遠古以來所立的，在太初的日子所定的，難道你沒有聽過嗎？現在我使它應驗了，就是讓你把堅固的城變為荒廢的石堆——那時城中的居民軟弱無力，驚惶羞愧，像田間蔬草、青綠嫩草，像被東風吹焦的屋頂上的草。
