Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

Then the kings of the earth, the nobles, the military commanders, the rich, the powerful, and every slave and free person hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

耶和華興起震動大地之時、人將入於巖之窟、地之穴、以避耶和華之威烈、及其赫赫之榮光、

宜入於磐巖、匿於塵土、以避耶和華之威烈、及其赫赫之榮光、

是日也、耶和華罰居高之諸軍於天、懲在世之列王於地、咸被拘集、如囚聚於囹圄、禁於監獄、歷日既久、則必受罰、

耶和華興起、震動大地之時、人將入於巖之穴、磐之隙、以避耶和華之威烈、及其赫赫之榮光、

爾曹列王、宜具聰慧、世上士師、宜受訓誨兮、以寅畏奉事耶和華、喜樂而戰兢兮、當吻厥子、免其震怒、爾亡於路、蓋其怒必速發、託庇於彼者、其有福兮、

彼將挫折牧伯之氣、對於世之諸王、顯其可畏兮、

以色列民見事危急、窘迫特甚、則匿於山洞、叢林巖穴、營窟坎阱、

五王逃至瑪基大、匿於穴、或告約書亞曰、五王既遇、匿於瑪基大穴、

衣以灑血之衣、其名稱為上帝道、在天眾軍、乘白馬而從之、皆衣枲、白且潔、口出利劍、將以擊列邦、且以鐵杖牧之、全能上帝恚怒之酒醡、彼亦踐之、其衣及股、有名書曰、諸王之王、諸主之主、○我又見一使立於日中、大聲而呼、謂凡飛於天空之鳥曰、來、集赴上帝之盛筵、俾得食君王將帥勇士、及馬與乘之者、或自主為奴、與卑者尊者之肉、○我又見獸及世上諸王、並其軍咸集、欲與乘馬者及其軍戰、獸被執、偽先知亦然、即昔行異蹟於獸前、以惑受獸印誌而拜其像者、二者生投於火湖、以硫焚之、餘皆見殺於乘馬者口出之劍、眾鳥皆飽其肉焉、

於荒野、山嶺、洞穴、地窟、轉徙無常、若此之人、斯世不堪有者也、

主在爾右發怒時、必擊破列王兮、行鞫於列邦、使尸滿戰場、擊破多國之首兮、

萬民其聽之、普世居民、其傾耳兮、尊卑貧富之人、偕聽之兮、

米甸之勢、勝於以色列人、以色列人因之在山營窟、為穴建寨、

世上諸王、素與行淫而奢華者、見所焚之煙、則為之哭而擗、因其痛苦而懼、則遠立曰、禍哉、禍哉、大巴比倫鞏固之邑乎、半時間爾之鞫至矣、世上諸商、亦為之哭而哀、因不復見有人購其貨也、

惟斯民被掠見奪、皆羈於穴幽於獄、被掠而無人施拯、見奪而無人曰返之、

況不偏視王公、不歧視貧富者乎、蓋皆其所造也、中夜俄頃之間、彼眾死亡、庶民被震而逝、強者見逐、非假人手、

必舐塵若蛇、戰慄出穴、如匍匐之物、悚然而歸我上帝耶和華、且因爾而懼焉、
