I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red,

I watched as the Lamb broke open the sixth seal. There was a powerful earthquake. The sun turned black like the clothes people wear when they’re sad. Those clothes are made out of goat’s hair. The whole moon turned as red as blood.

When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood,

此難之後、日將冥、月無光、星隕自天、天象震動、

其至也、地震天動、日月晦冥、星辰斂曜、

吾將顯異蹟於上天、奇兆於下地、若血、若火、若煙霧、日將變暗、月將變血、在主日未至之前、即其大而顯赫之日也、

日月晦冥、星辰斂曜、

當是時也、災難之後、日將冥、月無光、星隕自天、天象震動、

我將顯奇事於上天下地、若血、若火、若煙柱、日將變暗、月將變血、在耶和華大而可畏之日未至之前、

又有電與聲與雷、地亦大震、自生民以來、其震未有若是之大也、

耶和華之日將至、其勢殘酷、具有忿恚震怒、以致斯土荒蕪、罪人滅於其中、天星列宿、其光不著、日出而暗、月不揚輝、

是時也、地大震、邑圮十分之一、死者七千人、餘皆恐懼、歸榮於在天之上帝、○

主耶和華曰、是日也、我將使日沈於亭午、使地晦於白晝、

我滅爾時、必蔽諸天、使星昏暗、以雲掩日、令月無光、我使天之輝光昏暗、布晦冥於爾地、主耶和華言之矣、

我衣穹蒼以晦冥、蔽之以麻布、○

維時、月愧怍、日羞慚、因萬軍之耶和華王於錫安山、在耶路撒冷、於長者前顯其榮焉、

使者取爐、滿以壇上之火、傾於地、遂有雷與聲與電及地震、○

萬軍之耶和華曰、再延片時、我將震動天地海陸、亦將震動萬邦、萬邦所愉悅者將至我必以榮光充斯室、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

告猶大方伯所羅巴伯云、我必震動天地、傾列邦之座位、滅萬民諸國之勢力、覆其車與駕之者、馬與乘之者、俱仆於昆弟之刃、

曰、爾其出穴、立於山崗、在耶和華前、時、耶和華過焉、其前有風、大而且猛、裂山碎石、惟耶和華不在風中、風後地震、耶和華不在其中、地震之後有火、耶和華不在火中、火後有聲、微細而肅、以利亞聞之、以衣蒙面而出、立於穴口、有聲謂之曰、以利亞、爾在此何為、

萬軍之耶和華、將以霹靂、地震轟聲、旋風狂飇、焚燬之火臨之、

民將攻民、國將攻國、饑饉地震、隨在皆然、

山谷延及亞薩、爾曹將循之而遁、若猶大王烏西雅時、因避地震而遁、我上帝耶和華必涖臨、諸聖者偕之、

晝不藉日為光、夜不藉月照耀、耶和華為爾永久之光、爾上帝為爾之榮、爾之日不沒、爾之月不虧、蓋耶和華為爾永久之光、爾悲哀之日已終、

時約午正、徧地晦冥、至申初、日無光、殿幔中裂、

地大震、主之使自天而下、轉移其石而坐之、

百夫長及同守耶穌者見地震、與所歷之事、懼甚、曰、此誠上帝子也、
