大聲呼曰、聖且誠之主宰乎、不鞫宅地之人、伸我流血之冤、至幾何時乎、

大聲呼曰、聖誠之主歟、不問天下億兆、伸我流血之冤、將俟何時乎、

大聲呼曰、聖且誠之主歟、不審判居於地之人、為我儕伸流血之冤、將至何時、

大聲而呼曰：「嗟夫、神聖、真實、至高無上之主、爾審判天下、伸吾儕流血之冤、將待何時？」

They called out in a loud voice,“ How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?”

They shouted to the Lord and said,“ O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you judge the people who belong to this world and avenge our blood for what they have done to us?”

For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.”

since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And I heard the angel of the waters saying:“ You are righteous, O Lord, The One who is and who was and who is to be, Because You have judged these things.For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, And You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.”And I heard another from the altar saying,“ Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.”

“ And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,‘ These things says He who is holy, He who is true,“ He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”:

The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”

And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Then the Angel of the Lord answered and said,“ O Lord of hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which You were angry these seventy years?”

“ Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”

When He avenges blood, He remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the humble.

Let the Lord judge between you and me, and let the Lord avenge me on you. But my hand shall not be against you.

“ For the Lord will judge His people And have compassion on His servants, When He sees that their power is gone, And there is no one remaining, bond or free.He will say:‘ Where are their gods, The rock in which they sought refuge?Who ate the fat of their sacrifices, And drank the wine of their drink offering? Let them rise and help you, And be your refuge.‘ Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand.For I raise My hand to heaven, And say,“ As I live forever,If I whet My glittering sword, And My hand takes hold on judgment, I will render vengeance to My enemies, And repay those who hate Me.I will make My arrows drunk with blood, And My sword shall devour flesh, With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the heads of the leaders of the enemy.”’“ Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people; For He will avenge the blood of His servants, And render vengeance to His adversaries; He will provide atonement for His land and His people.”

Who is this who comes from Edom, With dyed garments from Bozrah, This One who is glorious in His apparel, Traveling in the greatness of His strength?—“ I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?“ I have trodden the winepress alone, And from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, And I have stained all My robes.For the day of vengeance is in My heart, And the year of My redeemed has come.I looked, but there was no one to help, And I wondered That there was no one to uphold; Therefore My own arm brought salvation for Me; And My own fury, it sustained Me.I have trodden down the peoples in My anger, Made them drunk in My fury, And brought down their strength to the earth.”

They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:“ Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.”

Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written,“ Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

We do not see our signs; There is no longer any prophet; Nor is there any among us who knows how long.O God, how long will the adversary reproach? Will the enemy blaspheme Your name forever?

And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.”

Why should the nations say,“ Where is their God?” Let there be known among the nations in our sight The avenging of the blood of Your servants which has been shed.

The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance; He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked,So that men will say,“ Surely there is a reward for the righteous; Surely He is God who judges in the earth.”

And He said,“ What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.

Then Samson called to the Lord, saying,“ O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!”

to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

Lord, how long will You look on? Rescue me from their destructions, My precious life from the lions.

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river,“ How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?”

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,

How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?

Lord, how long will the wicked, How long will the wicked triumph?They utter speech, and speak insolent things; All the workers of iniquity boast in themselves.

Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who was speaking,“ How long will the vision be, concerning the daily sacrifices and the transgression of desolation, the giving of both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled under foot?”
