我看見在坐寶座者右手掌上有一卷書，裏面後面都寫着字，蓋上了七個印密封着。

我聽見有聲音、彷彿是極大羣人的聲音、彷彿眾水之聲音、彷彿強有力之雷的聲音、說：『哈利路亞！主我們的上帝、全能者、掌王權了！

羔羊揭開了第四個印的時候，我聽見第四隻活物的聲音說：『你來。』

有閃電、響聲、雷轟、從寶座間發出；在寶座前點𤏲七枝火把，就是上帝之七靈。寶座前好像玻璃海，彷彿水晶一般。寶座四圍、在寶座每一面當中、有一隻活物，四面共四隻，前後滿有眼睛。第一隻活物彷彿獅子，第二隻活物彷彿牛犢，第三隻活物有臉面像人的臉面，第四隻活物彷彿飛着的鷹。

羔羊揭開了第三個印的時候，我聽見第三隻活物說：『你來。』我就觀看，見有一匹黑馬。騎馬的執有天秤在手裏。

長老中有一位對我說：『別哭了！你看，猶大支派的獅子、大衛的根、已經得勝，可以展開那書卷、而揭開其七印了。』我看見在寶座正中、就是四活物圈正中、和長老圈正中、有一隻羔羊站立着、像被屠宰過的。他有七個角七個眼睛，就是上帝之七靈、奉差遣往全地上去的。羔羊就來、逕由坐寶座者右手中拿取了。

於是那在天上的上帝殿堂就開了；他的約櫃在他的殿堂中看得清清楚楚。隨即有閃電、響聲、雷轟、地震和大雹。

我們所看見所聽見的、我們不能不講。』

我聽見有聲音從天上來、像眾水的聲音、又像大雷的聲音；我所聽見的聲音又像琴師用絃琴所彈的聲音。

羔羊揭開了第二個印的時候，我聽見第二隻活物說：『你來。』

大聲喊叫，像獅子怒吼着；喊叫完了，就有七雷發出聲音來說話。七雷說話的時候，我正要寫下來；就聽見有聲音從天上說：『你要蓋印封上七雷所說的話，不可寫出來。』
