Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder,“ Come!”

羔啟一緘、我即見一靈物、其聲若雷云、來觀、

我見羔啟第一印時、我聞四活物之一、其聲如雷、曰、來觀、

羔羊啟一緘、吾聞一靈物發音如雷曰：「來！」

I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder,“ Come!”

Then I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.

Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,“ Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.

When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say,“ Come!”

From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God,and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal. And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind:the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in flight.

When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say,“ Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand.

And one of the elders said to me,“ Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.And he went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who was seated on the throne.

Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.

for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.”

And I heard a voice from heaven like the roar of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. The voice I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps,

When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say,“ Come!”

and called out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring. When he called out, the seven thunders sounded.And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying,“ Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.”
