我看见那位坐在宝座上的，右手拿著书卷，这书卷的两面都写满了字，用七个印封着。

我又听见一个声音，好像一大群人的声音，像众水的声音，又像大雷的声音，说：“哈利路亚！因为主、我们全能的神作王了！

羊羔揭开了第四个印的时候，我听见第四个活物的声音说：“你来！”

有闪电、响声、雷轰从宝座中发出；又有七枝火炬在宝座前点着，这就是神的七灵。宝座前有一个看来好像水晶的玻璃海。在宝座中间和宝座周围有四个活物，前后布满了眼睛。第一个活物像狮子，第二个活物像牛犊，第三个活物的脸面像人，第四个活物像飞鹰。

羊羔揭开了第三个印的时候，我听见第三个活物说：“你来！”我观看，见有一匹黑马；骑在马上的，手中拿着天平。

长老中有一位对我说：“不要哭！看哪，那从犹大支派出来的狮子，大卫的根，他已经得胜了，他能够展开那书卷，拆开它的七印。”我又看见在宝座和四个活物中间，并且在众长老中间，有羊羔站着，象是被杀过的。他有七角七眼，就是神的七灵，奉差遣到全地去的。羊羔走过去，从坐在宝座上那位的右手中取了书卷。

于是，在天上神的圣所开了，他的约柜就在他的圣所中显现出来。随即有闪电、响声、雷轰、地震、大冰雹。

我们看见的听见的，不能不说！”

我听见有声音从天上来，好像众水的声音，好像大雷的声音；我所听见的声音，又像琴师弹奏的琴声。

羊羔揭开了第二个印的时候，我听见第二个活物说：“你来！”

大声呼喊，好像狮子吼叫。他呼喊的时候，就有七雷发声说话。七雷说话的时候，我正要写下来，就听见有声音从天上出来，说：“七雷所说的你要封住，不可写出来！”
