我見有手、手執卷、展於我前、內外皆有文字、錄曰、悲哀、患難、慘怛。

坐者貌似碧玉、瑪瑙、有虹若葱珩、環繞其位、

我又聞自天之聲語我曰、有天使蹈海踐地爾可前、接其所執展舒之小卷、我就天使曰、請以小卷予我、天使曰、受而食之、其味如蜜、在口則甘、在腹則苦、我接天使小卷食之、在口果甘如蜜、在腹則苦甚、天使語我曰、爾必於列邦族姓及諸王前、宣播未來事、

所證之言、所命之書、當繫之以繩、鈐之以印、授諸門人。

所見之異象、論其日數、真實無妄、爾鈐以印、日久必應、

我耶和華之書、爾當詳察、所載若合符節、維禽與獸、各具雌雄、我有定命、使之聚處、以成余志、
