接著，我看見坐在寶座上的那一位右手中拿著一個書卷，內外都寫著字，用七個封印封住。

我見居於座者、右手擎卷、內外書文、緘以七印、

我觀坐位者、右執册、內外有文字、緘以七印、

我見坐寶座者、右手執卷、內外有文字、緘以七印、

又見位於寶座者、右手執一卷、內外俱有文字七印緘焉。

Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.

Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the one sitting on the throne. The scroll had writing on both sides. It was sealed with seven seals.

整個異象對你們就如封住的書卷裡的話。如果把這書卷交給識字的人，說：「請你讀一讀」，他必說：「我不能，因為它是封住的」；

羔羊上前去，從坐在寶座上那一位的右手中拿了書卷。

手裡拿著一個打開的小書卷。他右腳踩在海上，左腳踩在地上，

我又聽見天上、地上、地底下和海中的一切被造之物，以及天地間的萬有，都在說：「願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀和權能，都歸於坐在寶座上的那一位，都歸於羔羊，直到永永遠遠！」

我又觀看，羔羊打開七個封印中第一個封印的時候，我就聽見四個活物中的一個，用像雷鳴一樣的聲音說：「來！」

但以理啊！你當隱藏這些話語，封住這書卷，直到末後的時期；必有許多人往來奔走，知識也必增多。」那時，我但以理正在觀看，看哪，另有兩位站著，一位在河岸這邊，一位在河岸那邊！其中一位對那身穿細麻衣、在河水之上的人說：「這些奇妙之事的結局要到什麼時候呢？」我聽見那身穿細麻衣、在河水之上的人說話；他向天舉起左右手，指著永遠活著的那一位起誓說：「要經過一期、二期、半期，當聖潔子民的力量被打碎時，這一切事就會成就。」我聽見卻不領悟，就說：「我主啊，這些事的結局會是怎樣呢？」他說：「但以理啊，你只管去吧！因為這些話語已經被隱藏、被封住了，直到末後的時期。

坐著的那一位，看起來彷彿碧玉和紅寶石；又有一道彩虹圍著寶座，看起來彷彿綠寶石。

接著，我所聽見的那從天上來的聲音又對我講話，說：「你去，從那站在海上和地上的天使手中，把那打開的書卷拿過來。」我就走到那位天使面前，請他把小書卷給我。他就對我說：「拿去，把它吃掉！它會使你的肚子感到苦澀，但是在你口中會像蜜一樣甘甜。」我從天使的手中拿了小書卷，把它吃了；果然在我口中像蜜一樣甘甜，可是吃了以後，我的肚子就感到苦澀。然後他們對我說：「你必須指著許多民族、國家、語言群體和君王再說預言。」

你要收起誡命，在我的門徒中封住訓誨。

至於所提到的有關兩千三百個晚上和早晨的異象是真實的，但你要封住這異象，因為這是關於將來許多的日子。」

你們要查考和閱讀耶和華的書卷：這些動物無一缺失，無一沒有伴偶，因為耶和華的口已經吩咐了，他的靈招聚了牠們。
