接着，我看见坐在宝座上的那位右手拿着一卷内外写着字、用七个印封住的书。

我見居於座者、右手擎卷、內外書文、緘以七印、

我觀坐位者、右執册、內外有文字、緘以七印、

我見坐寶座者、右手執卷、內外有文字、緘以七印、

又見位於寶座者、右手執一卷、內外俱有文字七印緘焉。

Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.

这时我看见一只手向我伸来，手中拿着书卷。那只手把那书卷打开，书卷的两面都写满了哀伤、叹息、悲痛的话。

对你们而言，所有的启示都好像封了印的书卷。你们把书卷交给识字的人读，他会说：“我不能读，这书卷是封着的。”

那羔羊走上前去，从坐在宝座上的那位右手中接过书卷。

手中拿着一卷打开了的小书卷，右脚踏在海中，左脚踏在地上。

我又听到天上、地上、地底下和海洋中一切被造之物同声说：“愿颂赞、尊贵、荣耀和权柄都归于坐在宝座上的那位和羔羊，直到永永远远！”

然后，我看见羔羊揭开七印中的第一印，那时我听见四个活物中的一个用如雷的声音说：“来！”

但以理啊，这些话要保密，要把这书封起来，直到末了。许多人必四处探究，因而知识必增多。”我但以理观看，见另有两个人分别站在河的两岸。其中一人问身穿细麻衣、站在河水之上的人：“这奇异的事何时才应验呢？”我听见身穿细麻衣、站在河水之上的人向天举起双手，凭永活者起誓说：“再过三年半，等摧毁圣民的权势结束时，这一切事都要成就。”我听见这话，却不明白，就问他：“我主啊，这些事的结局会怎样呢？”他说：“但以理啊，你走吧，因为这些事要保密，要被封起来，一直到末了。

闪耀着碧玉和红宝石般的光彩。有一道翡翠般的彩虹围绕着宝座。

先前从天上对我说话的声音又吩咐我：“你去，从那位脚踏海洋陆地的天使手中把展开的小书卷拿来。”于是，我走到那天使面前，请他将小书卷给我。他对我说：“拿去，把它吃了。你的腹中会感到苦涩，可是你口中会觉得甘甜如蜜。”我就从天使手中接过小书卷，将它吃了，我口中果然甘甜如蜜，之后腹中觉得苦涩。那天使又对我说：“你必要再对许多民族、国家、语言族群、君王说预言。”

我的门徒啊，你们要把上帝的训诲卷起来，用印封好。

异象中所说的两千三百个昼夜是真的。但你要保密，不可告诉别人，因为这指的是遥远的将来。”

你们要去查考、阅读耶和华的书卷：以上的动物一个也不会少，无一缺少配偶。因为这是耶和华亲口说的，祂的灵必把它们聚在一起。
