Send me!”And He said,“ Go, and tell this people:‘ Keep on listening, but do not understand; And keep on looking, but do not gain knowledge.’Make the hearts of this people insensitive, Their ears dull, And their eyes blind, So that they will not see with their eyes, Hear with their ears, Understand with their hearts, And return and be healed.”Then I said,“ Lord, how long?” And He answered,“ Until cities are devastated and without inhabitant, Houses are without people And the land is utterly desolate,The Lord has completely removed people, And there are many forsaken places in the midst of the land.Yet there will still be a tenth portion in it, And it will again be subject to burning, Like a terebinth or an oak Whose stump remains when it is cut down. The holy seed is its stump.”

“ I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God,“ who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Each one had four faces and each one four wings, and beneath their wings was the form of human hands.As for the likeness of their faces, they were the same faces whose appearance I had seen by the river Chebar. Each one went straight ahead.

and before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal; and in the center and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind.

One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty.

Who is like You among the gods, Lord? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, Awesome in praises, working wonders?

And they* sang the song of Moses, the bond servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,“ Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!

preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and exhort, with great patience and instruction.

nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with labor and hardship we kept working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you;not because we do not have the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves as a role model for you, so that you would follow our example.

And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

For you recall, brothers and sisters, our labor and hardship: it was by working night and day so as not to be a burden to any of you, that we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.

Pay close attention to yourself and to the teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

Therefore, be on the alert, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears.
