時有電光、宏音、雷鳴、發自寶座。座前七燈、皆燃、即天主之七神也。

From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God.

當時吾見寶座及四靈物前、諸老之間、一羔羊立焉；狀若適見殺者具七角七目；七目者、即充塞大地之天主七神也。

應知爾今所陟者、非一有形之山、其上有火焰靉靆、幽冥暴風。爾所聞者、亦非號角之聲、及令人不堪卒聞之音。當時若輩聞及、皆不寒而慄。蓋天主之諭曰：『即使走獸觸及此山：亦當石擊以死。』其恐怖之情形、蓋有如此其甚者。摩西亦曰：『吾不勝恐懼戰慄。』其所見之可怖、可想而知矣。爾今所遊者、乃西溫山也、永生天主之城府也、天上之耶路撒冷也、無數天神之所集也、錄名天上之一總冢息之教會也；於斯有黜陟萬有之主宰焉、有德備義全者之靈魂焉、有為新約仲介之耶穌焉、有耶穌所灑之寶血焉；此血也、其所發之言、非復亞伯之血所得同日而語矣。爾其慎旃、切勿輕忽其所發之言也。夫古人之不聽從地上施教之人者、尚不能免責矧於自天所訓而不聽從者、其能僥倖於萬一乎？當時厥音曾震動天地、而今吾人則有恩諾曰：『吾當更有一度、不僅動地、亦將驚天。』其言「更有一度、」何謂也？乃云凡屬可動搖者、將盡去之；而不可動搖者、將永存之耳。然則吾人既受有不可動搖之邦國、猶可不懷洪恩、小心翼翼、昭示天主、以取其悅乎？應知吾人之天主、乃燎原之火也。

峻極於天。坐鎮義塞。

陰陽相薄而成雹兮。絳烟起於雲中。顯至尊之赫赫兮。震天怒之隆隆。於是噓氣叱咤。冰炭俱落。

復見火光𦧡𦧡如舌、分降人頂；

吾惟以水洗爾、用啟悔悟；然有後我者、威力遠超我上、吾雖為之執履、亦非所宜稱；彼將洗爾於聖神與靈火之中。

故靈賦雖萬有不齊、而聖神則一；所司之事雖殊、而所事之主則同；功效雖變化無窮、而所以致之者、則為推動萬有之唯一天主也。且聖神所授予各人之啟牖、莫非為眾人之益耳。或感聖神而受妙諦、或感同一聖神而受智辯、或受篤信、或受療疾之能、或行靈蹟、或作預言、或識別神之真偽、或操方言、或譯方言；凡此皆同一聖神之妙工、隨意所悅、以施於人。
