四活物就说：“阿们！”众长老也俯伏敬拜。

宝座的周围又有二十四个座位，上面坐着二十四位长老，身穿白衣，头上戴着金冠冕。

来啊，我们要俯伏敬拜，在造我们的耶和华面前跪拜。

他一拿了书卷，四活物和二十四位长老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各拿着琴和盛满了香的金炉；这香就是众圣徒的祈祷。

那二十四位长老和四活物就俯伏敬拜坐在宝座上的神，说：“阿们。哈利路亚！”

在神面前，坐在自己座位上的二十四位长老都俯伏在地上敬拜神，

耶和华啊，尊大、能力、荣耀、胜利、威严都是你的；天上地下的一切都是你的；耶和华啊，国度是你的，并且你为至高，为万有之首。丰富尊荣都从你而来，你也治理万物。在你手里有大能大力，你的手使人尊大强盛。我们的神啊，现在我们称谢你，赞美你荣耀之名！“我算什么，我的百姓算什么，竟然能够如此乐意奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们把从你的手得来的献给你。我们在你面前是客旅，是寄居的，与我们的列祖一样。我们在世的日子如影子，没有盼望。耶和华—我们的神啊，我们预备这许多材料，要为你的圣名建造殿宇，都是从你的手而来，都是属你的。

众天使都站在宝座和众长老，以及四个活物的周围，俯伏在宝座前，敬拜神，

主啊，谁敢不敬畏你，不把荣耀归于你的名？因为只有你是神圣的。万民都要来，在你面前敬拜，因你公义的作为已经彰显了。”

对他说：“你若俯伏拜我，我就把这一切赐给你。”耶稣说：“撒但，退去！因为经上记着：‘要拜主—你的神，惟独事奉他。’”

众王都要叩拜他，万国都要事奉他。

这些事是我—约翰所听见所看见的。当我听见看见时，就俯伏在指示我的天使脚前要拜他。他对我说：“千万不可！我与你和你的弟兄众先知，以及那些守这书上的话的人，同是作仆人。你要敬拜神。”

每逢四活物将荣耀、尊贵、感谢归给那坐在宝座上、活到永永远远者的时候，

进了房子，看见小孩子和他母亲马利亚，就俯伏拜那小孩子，揭开宝盒，拿出黄金、乳香、没药，作为礼物献给他。

他们就拜他，带着极大的喜乐回耶路撒冷去，

大卫对全会众说：“你们应当称颂耶和华—你们的神。”于是全会众称颂耶和华—他们列祖的神，低头向耶和华和王下拜。

那火降下、耶和华的荣光在殿上的时候，以色列众人看见，就在石板地俯伏敬拜，称谢耶和华：“耶和华本为善，他的慈爱永远长存！”

然而，由于神的恩典，我才成了今日的我，并且他所赐给我的恩典不是徒然的。我比众使徒格外劳苦；其实不是我，而是神的恩典与我同在。

约伯就起来，撕裂外袍，剃了头，俯伏在地敬拜，

耶和华啊，荣耀不要归与我们，不要归与我们；要因你的慈爱和信实归在你的名下！
