Around that throne were 24 thrones, and on the thrones sat 24 elders dressed in white clothes, with gold crowns on their heads.

Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

When He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

Then the 24 elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who is seated on the throne, saying: Amen! Hallelujah!

The 24 elders, who were seated before God on their thrones, fell facedown and worshiped God,

Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to You. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom, and You are exalted as head over all.Riches and honor come from You, and You are the ruler of everything. Power and might are in Your hand, and it is in Your hand to make great and to give strength to all.Now therefore, our God, we give You thanks and praise Your glorious name.But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? For everything comes from You, and we have given You only what comes from Your own hand.For we live before You as foreigners and temporary residents in Your presence as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope.Yahweh our God, all this wealth that we’ve provided for building You a house for Your holy name comes from Your hand; everything belongs to You.

All the angels stood around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures, and they fell facedown before the throne and worshiped God,

Lord, who will not fear and glorify Your name? Because You alone are holy, for all the nations will come and worship before You because Your righteous acts have been revealed.

And he said to Him,“ I will give You all these things if You will fall down and worship me.”Then Jesus told him,“ Go away, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve only Him.”

Let all kings bow down to him, all nations serve him.

I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown them to me.But he said to me,“ Don’t do that! I am a fellow slave with you, your brothers the prophets, and those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the One seated on the throne, the One who lives forever and ever,

Entering the house, they saw the child with Mary His mother, and falling to their knees, they worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

After worshiping Him, they returned to Jerusalem with great joy.

Then David said to the whole assembly,“ Praise the Lord your God.” So the whole assembly praised the Lord God of their ancestors. They bowed down and paid homage to the Lord and the king.

All the Israelites were watching when the fire descended and the glory of the Lord came on the temple. They bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground. They worshiped and praised the Lord: For He is good, for His faithful love endures forever.

But by God’s grace I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not ineffective. However, I worked more than any of them, yet not I, but God’s grace that was with me.

Then Job stood up, tore his robe, and shaved his head. He fell to the ground and worshiped,

Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to Your name give glory because of Your faithful love, because of Your truth.
