像等候自己的主人從婚筵回來一樣，好叫你們在主人回來敲門時，立刻給他開門。主人來到了，看見僕人警醒，這些僕人就有福了。我實在告訴你們，主人必親自束腰，招待他們吃飯，進前來侍候他們。

那領受我的命令，並且遵守的，就是愛我的；愛我的，我父必定愛他，我也要愛他，並且要親自向他顯現。”猶大（不是加略人猶大）對耶穌說：“主啊，你為甚麼要親自向我們顯現，不向世人顯現呢？”耶穌回答：“人若愛我，就要遵守我的話，我父必定愛他，並且我們要到他那裡去，跟他住在一起。

天使對我說：“你要寫下來：‘被邀請赴羊羔婚筵的人有福了！’”他又對我說：“這都是神真實的話。”

我身雖然睡臥，我心卻醒。這是我的良人的聲音，他敲著門說：“我的妹妹，我的佳偶，我的鴿子，我的完全人哪！求你給我開門；因為我的頭滿了露水，頭髮給夜露滴濕。”我回答：“我脫了外衣，怎能再穿上呢？我洗了腳，怎能再弄髒呢？”我的良人從門孔裡伸進手來，我的心因他大為激動。

同樣，當你們看見這一切，就知道人子已經近在門口了。

而不對他說：‘給我預備晚餐，束起腰來服事我，等我吃喝完了，你才吃喝’呢？
