你既然遵守了我忍耐的道，我也必定保守你脫離那試煉的時候；這就是那將要臨到普天下，來試煉住在地上的人的時候。

爾既堅忍守我之道、我亦將守爾、免乎受試之時、此時將臨於寰宇、以試凡宅地之人、

在世必有患難、試天下億兆、我道貴忍、爾既守之、故我必範衛爾、

時將至、舉世有患難、以試天下之人、爾既守我忍耐之道、我必護庇爾、免於彼時之試煉、

爾既守吾寬忍之道、吾亦當於全世之人遭受試練時、保爾於難。

Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.

You have kept my command to remain strong in the faith no matter what happens. So I will keep you from the time of suffering. That time is going to come to the whole world. It will test those who live on the earth.

Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.

“ Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world.

Because you have kept my command to endure, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is going to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

Because you have kept My word of perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of the testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who live on the earth.

主知道怎樣搭救敬虔的人脫離試探，又把不義的人留下來，等候在審判的日子受刑罰，

我必使這三分之一經火試煉。我要煉淨他們，像煉淨銀子一樣；我要試煉他們，像試煉金子一樣。他們必呼求我的名，我必應允他們。我要說：‘他們是我的子民。’他們也要說：‘耶和華是我們的神。’”

你不要怕你將要受的苦。看哪！魔鬼將要把你們中間幾個人下在監裡，叫你們受試煉，你們要受患難十天。你要忠心至死，我就把那生命的冠冕賜給你。

在這裡，那些遵守神的命令和耶穌的信仰的聖徒，要有忍耐。

我約翰，就是你們的弟兄，在耶穌裡跟你們一同分享患難、國度和忍耐的，為了神的道和耶穌的見證，曾經在那名叫拔摩的海島上。

不要讓我們陷入試探，救我們脫離那惡者。’﹙有些後期抄本在此有“因為國度、權柄、榮耀，全是你的，直到永遠。阿們”一句。﹚

許多人必潔淨自己，使自己潔白，並且被熬煉。可是惡人仍然作惡。所有惡人都不明白，只有那些使人有智慧的才能明白。

這天國的福音要傳遍天下，向萬民作見證，然後結局才來到。

他們大聲喊叫，說：“聖潔真實的主啊！你不審判住在地上的人，給我們伸流血的冤，要到幾時呢？”

如果人應該被俘擄，就必被俘擄；如果人應該被刀殺，就必被刀殺。在這裡聖徒要有忍耐和信心！

你們所受的試探，無非是人受得起的；神是信實的，他必不容許你們受試探過於你們承受得起的，而且在受試探的時候，必定給你們開一條出路，使你們能忍受得住。

我觀看，就聽見一隻在高空飛翔的鷹，大聲說：“有禍了！有禍了！住在地上的人有禍了！因為還有三位天使將要吹其餘的號。”

親愛的，有火煉的試驗臨到你們，不要以為奇怪，好像是遭遇非常的事，

你看見的那獸，先前在、現今不在、將來要從無底坑上來，然後走向滅亡。住在世上的人，凡是名字在創世以來沒有記在生命冊上的，看見了那先前在、現今不在、將來還要出現的獸，就都要驚奇。

所有住在地上的人，名字沒有記在創世以來被殺的羊羔之生命冊上的，都要拜牠。

地上的居民哪！恐懼、陷坑和網羅，都臨近你們！

牠得了能力，在頭一隻獸面前能行奇事，迷惑了住在地上的人，吩咐住在地上的人，要為那受過刀傷而還活著的獸做個像。

所以要穿起神所賜的全副軍裝，使你們在這邪惡的時代裡可以抵擋得住，並且在作完了一切之後，還能站立得穩。

住在地上的人為了他們的緣故，就歡喜快樂，彼此送禮，因為這兩位先知曾經使他們受痛苦。

首先，我靠著耶穌基督，為你們大家感謝我的神，因為你們的信心傳遍天下。

應當警醒、禱告，免得陷入試探；你們心靈雖然願意，肉體卻是軟弱的。”

我實在告訴你們，福音無論傳到世界上甚麼地方，都要傳講這女人所作的來記念她。”

那時，有諭旨從凱撒奧古士督頒發下來，叫普天下的人登記戶口。

我的弟兄們，無花果樹能結橄欖嗎？葡萄樹能長無花果嗎？鹹水也不能發出甜水來。
