Then he said to me,“ These words are faithful and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His angel to show His slaves what must quickly take place.”

天神告予曰：「凡茲所言皆真實無妄；乃眾先知之神靈所仰望之天主遣其天神、以不久將見之事、示其諸僕：

The angel said to me,“ These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”

Then the angel said to me,“ These words are reliable and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must happen soon.”

The revelation of Jesus Christ that God gave Him to show His slaves what must quickly take place. He sent it and signified it through His angel to His slave John,

Then the One seated on the throne said,“ Look! I am making everything new.” He also said,“ Write, because these words are faithful and true.”

Then he said to me,“ Write: Those invited to the marriage feast of the Lamb are fortunate!” He also said to me,“ These words of God are true.”

so that you can remember the words previously spoken by the holy prophets and the command of our Lord and Savior given through your apostles.

They inquired into what time or what circumstances the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating when He testified in advance to the messianic sufferings and the glories that would follow.It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you. These things have now been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Angels desire to look into these things.

because no prophecy ever came by the will of man; instead, men spoke from God as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

“ Look, I am coming quickly! The one who keeps the prophetic words of this book is blessed.”

Rejoice over her, heaven, and you saints, apostles, and prophets, because God has executed your judgment on her!

But what God predicted through the mouth of all the prophets— that His Messiah would suffer— He has fulfilled in this way.

which He promised long ago through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures—

just as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets in ancient times;

and to reward with rest you who are afflicted, along with us. This will take place at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His powerful angels,

Then Peter came to himself and said,“ Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel and rescued me from Herod’s grasp and from all that the Jewish people expected.”

Dear friends, don’t let this one thing escape you: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.The Lord does not delay His promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance.

And I say this, brothers: The time is limited, so from now on those who have wives should be as though they had none,
