So“ they are in front of the throne of God. They serve him day and night in his temple. The one who sits on the throne will be with them to keep them safe.‘ Never again will they be hungry. Never again will they be thirsty. The sun will not beat down on them.’( Isaiah 49:10) The heat of the desert will not harm them.The Lamb, who is at the center of the area around the throne, will be their shepherd.‘ He will lead them to springs of living water.’( Isaiah 49:10)‘ And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ ”( Isaiah 25:8)

Anyone who serves me must follow me. And where I am, my servant will also be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

If I go and do that, I will come back. And I will take you to be with me. Then you will also be where I am.

People will live in it. Jerusalem will never be destroyed again. It will be secure.

I will live with them. I will be their God. And they will be my people.

You will show that I am right; I will enjoy your blessing. When I wake up, I will be satisfied because I will see you.

People of Zion, give a loud shout! Sing for joy! The Holy One of Israel is among you. And he is great.”

I didn’t see a temple in the city. That’s because the Lamb and the Lord God who rules over all are its temple.The city does not need the sun or moon to shine on it. God’s glory is its light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

You always show me the path of life. You will fill me with joy when I am with you. You will make me happy forever at your right hand.

“ Then he will say to those on his left,‘ You are cursed! Go away from me into the fire that burns forever. It has been prepared for the devil and his angels.

“ May anyone who doesn’t honor the words of this law by obeying them be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”

“ I heard you in the garden,” the man answered.“ I was afraid, because I was naked. So I hid.”The Lord God said,“ Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten fruit from the tree I commanded you not to eat from?”The man said,“ It’s the fault of the woman you put here with me. She gave me some fruit from the tree. And I ate it.”Then the Lord God said to the woman,“ What have you done?” The woman said,“ The serpent tricked me. That’s why I ate the fruit.”
