天使又指示我一道明亮如水晶的生命水的河流，從神和羊羔的寶座那裡流出來，

他在木頭上親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們既然不活在罪中，就可以為義而活。因他受的鞭傷，你們就得了醫治。

那些洗淨自己袍子的人是有福的！他們可以有權到生命樹那裡，也可以從門進到城裡。

耶和華神使各樣的樹從地上長起來，能悅人的眼目，也好作食物。園子中間又有生命樹，和知善惡樹。

他又對我說：“這水要向東方的地區流出去，下到亞拉巴，流入死海。這水流入死海，就使海裡的水變淡（“變淡”原文作“得醫治”）。那時，這河流過的地方，所有滋生的動物都可以存活。這水流到哪裡，哪裡就有許多魚；因為這河流到哪裡，海水就變淡，一切都可以存活。必有漁夫站在河邊，從隱．基底直到隱．以革蓮，都是曬網的地方。各類的魚都像大海裡的魚那樣多。只有沼澤和窪地的水不能變淡，留作產鹽之用。在河這邊和那邊的岸上，都必有各種果樹生長，可作食物，樹上的葉子不枯乾，果子也不斷絕。每月必結出新果子，因為樹所需的水是從聖所裡流出來的。樹上的果子可作食物，葉子可以治病。”

耶和華神說：“那人和我們中間的一個相似，能知善惡；現在恐怕他伸出手來，摘取生命樹上的果子吃，就永遠活著。”耶和華神就把他趕出伊甸園，去耕種他自己也是從那裡出來的地土。於是把亞當驅逐出去，又派基路伯在伊甸園的東邊，拿著旋轉發火燄的劍，把守到生命樹去的路。

然後，他帶我回到聖殿的門口。有水正從殿的門檻往下流出來，向東流去，因為聖殿是朝東的。這水從殿的右邊，從祭壇的南邊下面流出來。

對緊握智慧的人來說，智慧是生命樹，凡是緊抓智慧的，都是有福的。

如果有人從這書上的預言刪減甚麼，神必從這書上所記的生命樹和聖城刪去他的分。

列國要藉著城的光行走，地上的眾王要把他們的榮華帶到這城來。

十二個門是十二顆珍珠，每一個門是用一顆珍珠做的。城裡的街道是純金的，好像透明的玻璃。

可是，對你們敬畏我名的人，必有公義的太陽升起來；它的光線有醫治的功能；你們必出來跳躍，像欄裡的肥牛犢。”

他的道路，我看見了，我卻要醫治他，引導他，把安慰賞賜他和他的哀悼者。我創造嘴唇的果子：平安，平安，歸給遠處的人，也歸給近處的人。”耶和華說：“我要醫治他。”

他醫好傷心的人，裹好他們的傷處。

“我必醫治他們背道的病，甘心樂意愛他們，因為我的怒氣已經遠離他們了。

“主的靈在我身上，因為他膏我去傳福音給貧窮的人，差遣我去宣告被擄的得釋放，瞎眼的得看見，受壓制的得自由，

你要使這子民的心思遲鈍（“遲鈍”直譯是“蒙脂油”），耳朵不靈，眼睛昏暗，免得他們眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裡明白，回轉過來，得到醫治。”

耶和華啊！求你醫治我，我就得醫治；求你拯救我，我就得拯救；因為你是我所讚美的。
