天使讓我看城內街道當中一道流淌著生命水的河，清澈如水晶，從上帝和羔羊的寶座那裡流出。

『聖靈對各教會所說的話，凡有耳朵的都應當聽。我必將上帝樂園中生命樹上的果子賜給得勝者吃。』

祂被釘在十字架上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們向著罪死了，可以過公義的生活。因祂所受的鞭傷，你們得到了醫治。

那些洗淨自己衣裳的人有福了！他們有權吃生命樹的果子，也可以從城門進入城中。

耶和華上帝使地面長出各種樹木，它們既好看又能結出可吃的果子。在園子的中間有生命樹和分別善惡的樹。

他對我說：「這水向東流，經過亞拉巴流到鹽海，使那裡的鹹水變為淡水。河水流經的地方，萬物滋長，魚產豐盛，因為河水使那裡的鹹水變成淡水了。漁夫要站在岸邊捕魚，從隱·基底到隱·以革蓮都是曬網的地方。那裡的魚就像大海的魚一樣種類繁多。但沼澤和濕窪之地卻不會改變，留作產鹽之地。沿河兩岸長著各種果樹，樹的葉子不會枯乾，果實也不會斷絕。樹必月月結出新果，不但果實可吃，葉子還可作藥用，因為這水是從聖所流出來的。」

耶和華上帝說：「看啊，那人已經與我們相似，能分辨善惡。現在，恐怕他會伸手去摘生命樹的果子吃，那樣他就會永遠活著。」因此，耶和華上帝就把亞當趕出伊甸園，讓他去開墾土地——他的本源。上帝趕走了亞當以後，就派遣基路伯天使駐守在伊甸園東邊，又用一把旋轉的火劍守護在通往生命樹的路上。

他又領我回到聖殿門口，我看見有水從聖殿的門檻下往東流去。殿的正面朝東，這水從殿的南側經祭壇的南邊往下流。

對持守智慧的人來說，智慧是生命樹，緊握智慧的人必蒙祝福。

如果有人從這預言書上刪減什麼，上帝必使他無份於這書上所記載的生命樹和聖城。

萬民要在聖城的光中行走，地上的君王也要將他們的榮耀帶進聖城。

十二個城門是用十二顆珍珠造的，每一個城門都是一顆珍珠，城中的街道是純金的，好像透明的玻璃一樣。

但必有公義的太陽為你們這些敬畏我名的人升起，它的光芒有醫治的能力。你們必像欄中出來的牛犢一樣歡欣跳躍。

我看見了他們的所作所為，但我還是要醫治他們，引領他們，使他們和那些哀傷的人得安慰，使他們開口讚美。願遠近各方的人都得到平安！我要醫治他們。這是耶和華說的。

祂醫治心靈破碎的人，包紮他們的創傷。

耶和華說：「我要醫治他們的叛道，心甘情願地愛他們，因為我的怒氣已經轉離他們。

「主的靈在我身上，因為祂膏立了我，讓我傳福音給貧窮的人，差遣我宣告被擄的人得釋放、瞎眼的人得見光明、受欺壓的人得自由，

要讓這些人心靈麻木，耳朵發背，眼睛昏花，免得他們眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裡明白，回心轉意，就得到醫治。」

耶和華啊，你醫治我，我必痊癒；你拯救我，我必脫離危難，因為你是我所讚美的。
