天使让我看城内街道当中一道流淌着生命水的河，清澈如水晶，从上帝和羔羊的宝座那里流出。

‘圣灵对各教会所说的话，凡有耳朵的都应当听。我必将上帝乐园中生命树上的果子赐给得胜者吃。’

祂被钉在十字架上，亲身担当了我们的罪，使我们向着罪死了，可以过公义的生活。因祂所受的鞭伤，你们得到了医治。

那些洗净自己衣裳的人有福了！他们有权吃生命树的果子，也可以从城门进入城中。

耶和华上帝使地面长出各种树木，它们既好看又能结出可吃的果子。在园子的中间有生命树和分别善恶的树。

他对我说：“这水向东流，经过亚拉巴流到盐海，使那里的咸水变为淡水。河水流经的地方，万物滋长，鱼产丰盛，因为河水使那里的咸水变成淡水了。渔夫要站在岸边捕鱼，从隐·基底到隐·以革莲都是晒网的地方。那里的鱼就像大海的鱼一样种类繁多。但沼泽和湿洼之地却不会改变，留作产盐之地。沿河两岸长着各种果树，树的叶子不会枯干，果实也不会断绝。树必月月结出新果，不但果实可吃，叶子还可作药用，因为这水是从圣所流出来的。”

耶和华上帝说：“看啊，那人已经与我们相似，能分辨善恶。现在，恐怕他会伸手去摘生命树的果子吃，那样他就会永远活着。”因此，耶和华上帝就把亚当赶出伊甸园，让他去开垦土地——他的本源。上帝赶走了亚当以后，就派遣基路伯天使驻守在伊甸园东边，又用一把旋转的火剑守护在通往生命树的路上。

他又领我回到圣殿门口，我看见有水从圣殿的门槛下往东流去。殿的正面朝东，这水从殿的南侧经祭坛的南边往下流。

对持守智慧的人来说，智慧是生命树，紧握智慧的人必蒙祝福。

如果有人从这预言书上删减什么，上帝必使他无份于这书上所记载的生命树和圣城。

万民要在圣城的光中行走，地上的君王也要将他们的荣耀带进圣城。

十二个城门是用十二颗珍珠造的，每一个城门都是一颗珍珠，城中的街道是纯金的，好像透明的玻璃一样。

但必有公义的太阳为你们这些敬畏我名的人升起，它的光芒有医治的能力。你们必像栏中出来的牛犊一样欢欣跳跃。

我看见了他们的所作所为，但我还是要医治他们，引领他们，使他们和那些哀伤的人得安慰，使他们开口赞美。愿远近各方的人都得到平安！我要医治他们。这是耶和华说的。

祂医治心灵破碎的人，包扎他们的创伤。

耶和华说：“我要医治他们的叛道，心甘情愿地爱他们，因为我的怒气已经转离他们。

“主的灵在我身上，因为祂膏立了我，让我传福音给贫穷的人，差遣我宣告被掳的人得释放、瞎眼的人得见光明、受欺压的人得自由，

要让这些人心灵麻木，耳朵发背，眼睛昏花，免得他们眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回心转意，就得到医治。”

耶和华啊，你医治我，我必痊愈；你拯救我，我必脱离危难，因为你是我所赞美的。
