耶西之幹、將生萌蘖、其枝結實、由於其根、

約翰書達亞西亞之七會、願恩惠平康、自昔在今在而將來者、及其座前之七神、歸於爾曹、

我見之不於今日、我觀之非在近時、有一星焉、自雅各家而出、有一杖焉、自以色列而興、擊破摩押之隅、殲滅鼓譟之士、

曰、生而為猶太人王者安在、我在東方見其星、故來拜之、

證此書者曰、然、我速至、阿們、主耶穌其至哉、

列祖、其祖也、依形軀言、基督由之而出、即在萬有之上、永世當頌之上帝、阿們、

謂之曰、萬軍之耶和華云、有名萌蘖者、必由其地挺生、將建耶和華之殿、

耶穌基督之啟示、乃上帝所賜以示其諸僕、即必速成之事也、且遣厥使、曉諭其僕約翰、

有耳者宜聽聖神所語諸會者、

又謂我曰、此言信且真也、主即感諸先知之上帝、遣其使者、以必速成之事示其諸僕、

爾意基督若何、係誰之裔乎、

我又以晨星賜之、有耳者宜聽聖神所語諸會者、

乃謂其子、依形軀言、自大衛之裔而生、依維聖之神言、因自死復生、以權能證為上帝子、即我主耶穌基督、

即因我上帝矜恤之心、使旭日自上臨我、

使者又以城衢中維生水之河示我、其水光明如晶、自上帝及羔之座而出、

有耳者宜聽聖神所語諸會者、獲勝者我則賜以所藏之瑪那、且賜之白石、上書新名、受者之外無識之者、○

亞伯拉罕大衛之裔、耶穌基督族譜、

不義者仍為不義、污穢者仍為污穢、義者仍為義、聖者仍為聖、

夫大衛既稱之為主、則如何為大衛裔乎、

有耳者宜聽聖神所語諸會者、獲勝者不見傷於二次之死、○

於是希律密召博士、詢悉星見之時、遂遣之往伯利恆曰、爾往詳訪嬰兒、遇則告我、我亦往拜之、博士聞王命而往、東方所見之星前導、至嬰兒所在、則止其上、博士見星、喜不自勝、
