Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”

Let the person who does wrong keep on doing wrong. Let the evil person continue to be evil. Let the person who does right keep on doing what is right. And let the holy person continue to be holy.”

But when I speak with you, I will loosen your tongue and you must say to them,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says.’ Those who listen will listen, but the indifferent will refuse, for they are a rebellious house.

But evil people and charlatans will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived themselves.

But the path of the righteous is like the bright morning light, growing brighter and brighter until full day.

Leave them! They are blind guides. If someone who is blind leads another who is blind, both will fall into a pit.”

“ Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.

The wicked will be thrown down in his trouble, but the righteous have refuge even in the threat of death.

Now to the one who is able to keep you from falling, and to cause you to stand, rejoicing, without blemish before his glorious presence,

But the righteous man holds to his way, and the one with clean hands grows stronger.

After noticing a fig tree by the road he went to it, but found nothing on it except leaves. He said to it,“ Never again will there be fruit from you!” And the fig tree withered at once.

Then Jesus said to them again,“ I am going away, and you will look for me but will die in your sin. Where I am going you cannot come.”

However, because I called but you refused to listen, because I stretched out my hand but no one paid attention,because you neglected all my advice, and did not comply with my rebuke,so I myself will laugh when disaster strikes you, I will mock when what you dread comes,when what you dread comes like a whirlwind, and disaster strikes you like a devastating storm, when distressing trouble comes on you.Then they will call to me, but I will not answer; they will diligently seek me, but they will not find me.Because they hated moral knowledge, and did not choose to fear the LORD,they did not comply with my advice, they spurned all my rebuke.Therefore they will eat from the fruit of their way, and they will be stuffed full of their own counsel.For the waywardness of the simpletons will kill them, and the careless ease of fools will destroy them.But the one who listens to me will live in security, and will be at ease from the dread of harm.

so that he may present the church to himself as glorious– not having a stain or wrinkle, or any such blemish, but holy and blameless.

But while they had gone to buy it, the bridegroom arrived, and those who were ready went inside with him to the wedding banquet. Then the door was shut.

I gave them over to their stubborn desires; they did what seemed right to them.

but now he has reconciled you by his physical body through death to present you holy, without blemish, and blameless before him–

If the clouds are full of rain, they will empty themselves on the earth, and whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, the tree will lie wherever it falls.

Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was permitted to scorch people with fire.Thus people were scorched by the terrible heat, yet they blasphemed the name of God, who has ruling authority over these plagues, and they would not repent and give him glory.Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast so that darkness covered his kingdom, and people began to bite their tongues because of their pain.They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their sufferings and because of their sores, but nevertheless they still refused to repent of their deeds.

And gigantic hailstones, weighing about a hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people, but they blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, since it was so horrendous.

Then one of the elders asked me,“ These dressed in long white robes– who are they and where have they come from?”So I said to him,“ My lord, you know the answer.” Then he said to me,“ These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb!For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple, and the one seated on the throne will shelter them.

And there will no longer be any curse, and the throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will worship him,
