惡者篤於惡、邪者篤於邪、義者篤於義、聖者篤於聖。

Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”

Let the person who does wrong keep on doing wrong. Let the evil person continue to be evil. Let the person who does right keep on doing what is right. And let the holy person continue to be holy.”

Let the one who is doing harm continue to do harm; let the one who is vile continue to be vile; let the one who is righteous continue to live righteously; let the one who is holy continue to be holy.”

Let the unrighteous go on in unrighteousness; let the filthy still be filthy; let the righteous go on in righteousness; let the holy still be holy.”

Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand.

But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord God.’ He who will hear, let him hear; and he who will refuse to hear, let him refuse, for they are a rebellious house.

while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.

Let them alone; they are blind guides. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

“ Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

The wicked is overthrown through his evildoing, but the righteous finds refuge in his death.

Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,

Yet the righteous holds to his way, and he who has clean hands grows stronger and stronger.

And seeing a fig tree by the wayside, he went to it and found nothing on it but only leaves. And he said to it,“ May no fruit ever come from you again!” And the fig tree withered at once.

So he said to them again,“ I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.”

Because I have called and you refused to listen, have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded,because you have ignored all my counsel and would have none of my reproof,I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when terror strikes you,when terror strikes you like a storm and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.Then they will call upon me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently but will not find me.Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord,would have none of my counsel and despised all my reproof,therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way, and have their fill of their own devices.For the simple are killed by their turning away, and the complacency of fools destroys them;but whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.”

so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.

So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels.

The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire.They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguishand cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent of their deeds.

And great hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people; and they cursed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.

Then one of the elders addressed me, saying,“ Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?”I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” And he said to me,“ These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.“ Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence.

No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.
