凡懦怯無志、狐疑不信、放僻邪侈、殺人縱淫、妖術惑眾、崇拜偶像、荒誕無稽之徒、皆當投入硫火池中；是為二次之死。」

但那些膽怯的、不信的、可憎的、殺人的、淫亂的、行邪術的、拜偶像的，和所有說謊的人，他們的份就在燃燒著烈火和硫磺的湖裡。這是第二次的死亡。」

但畏怯、不信、可憎、兇殺、淫亂、巫術、拜像、及凡言誑之人、其分乃在焚火與硫之湖、此即二次之死也、○

凡猶豫不信、可憎兇暴淫亂巫覡、拜偶像、言誕妄者、皆必受苦於火坑、坑有硫火、沒後之沉淪如此、

但彼畏怯者、不信者、可憎者、兇殺者、淫亂者、有邪術者、拜偶像者、與一切言誑者、必受苦於硫磺火坑中、此乃第二次之死、○

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars— they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

“ But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars— their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

But the cowards, faithless, detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars— their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

寧不知為不義者必不得承天主之國乎？幸毋自欺！凡行淫亂、拜偶像、犯奸惡、為孌童、親男色、作盜賊、貪污、沉湎、謗人、勒索之徒、未有能承受天主之國者也。

凡梟獍、巫覡、淫亂、兇暴、崇拜偶像、妖言惑眾者、皆當擯諸邑外。

陰府及窅冥、均被擲於火池之中。火池者、即二次之死亡是已；凡不見錄於生命冊者、皆投入火池。

願凡有耳者、諦聽聖神對諸教會之訓示：凡百折不撓、終克致勝者、則二次之死無得而害之。

幸毋自誤、應知凡奸非淫穢貪婪、莫非崇拜偶像之變相。犯此者必不得承嗣基督及天主之國也。勿為浮言所惑、蓋天主義怒之臨於悖逆諸子、正為此耳。

然官紳中亦頗有信耶穌者、惟礙於法利塞人、故不敢公然認之、恐被逐於會堂也。蓋若輩之愛慕人爵、有甚乎天爵者焉。

然外教人所祭獻之物、乃獻於魔鬼、而非獻於天主也。吾固不願爾等之與魔鬼有所共享也。爾等既飲主之爵、豈可又飲魔鬼之爵；既與主共席、能復與魔鬼共席乎？

吾友乎、予語爾、彼僅能殺人之身、而餘無能為者、不足畏也。予今告爾、孰當畏者、既殺其身、而又能投之於地獄者、斯足畏焉。予勸爾畏之。五雀非售二分銀乎？然在天主之前、固無一雀被遺忘也。即爾頭上之髮、亦莖莖有數。毋事憂懼爾固貴於群雀也。予語爾凡認予於人前者、人子亦必認之於天主之眾天神前。其不認予於人前者、亦不被認於天主眾神之前也。

爾父非他、魔鬼是已！爾父之志、爾則承之。彼自始即為殺人之元兇、未曾須臾立足於真理之中、以彼心中不存真理故。惟誑語乃出其本性；彼為誑者、亦為誑者父。

耶穌應曰：『何爾信德之薄、而憂懼之多也！』遂起、斥風與海、霎時風平而浪靜、萬籟俱寂、一片安寧。

若輩惑於邪神、溺於魔道、輕信天良銷鑠、言行詐偽之人、

夫情慾之事、亦顯而易見也；凡姦非污濁、淫蕩奢侈、拜偶像、行巫術、仇恨爭競、好勝忿怒朋比釁隙、迷惑異端、嫉妒殘殺、沉醉荒宴等類皆是。吾夙已言之、今復鄭重相告、凡行此等事者、必不得承受天主之國也。

獸及偽先知同被擒。偽先知者、即當日行異蹟於獸前以熒惑受獸印拜獸像之群眾者也。二者俱被執而生投於硫火池中。

即使為善而茹苦、亦屬可慶。人之威脅、不足畏也。但須一心仰望基督作爾聖主。人若問爾、何以懷此望德、則侃侃而對、說明緣由；惟亦須以溫和恭敬之態度為之。

彼僅能殺身而不能滅靈者、不足懼也。惟能兼滅身靈於冥獄中者、斯可畏已。

惟大憝之暴興也、亦必恃沙殫之魔力、恣權行異、

應知律法之設、非為善人、乃為不法、橫行、無道、作惡、喪德、敗行、忤逆、不孝、殺人、淫亂、褻行、擄掠、誑言、背誓、

婚姻為聖潔之事、床笫不容沾辱。淫人妻女、必遭天誅。

爾之行實、爾之堅苦忍耐、悉在吾洞鑒之中；亦知爾不肯優容惡人、凡冒充宗徒者、爾竟能嚴加審察、而揭其偽妄；

蓋凡為天主所生者、必能克服世俗；而吾人所以克服世俗、卒致勝利者、實惟信德是賴。夫誰能克服世俗？其惟恪信耶穌為天主聖子者歟！

有為新約仲介之耶穌焉、有耶穌所灑之寶血焉；此血也、其所發之言、非復亞伯之血所得同日而語矣。

若輩怙惡不悛、而殺人、巫蠱、奸淫、竊盜、依然如故。

夫誰為妄人、其惟否認耶穌為基督者歟。若是之人、即是反基督、既不認父、亦不認子。
