最後勁敵、實為死亡、終亦被滅；

一旦有死者能化為無死、則經中所云：『死亡已被吞滅於凱旋中』者、乃見應驗矣，『嗚呼死亡！爾之勝利安在？爾之毒螫又安在哉？』死亡之毒螫、罪孽也；而罪孽之威權、律法也。感荷天主洪恩、吾人已藉吾主耶穌基督、而獲最後勝利矣。故望我親愛之兄弟確乎不拔、屹然不動、恆在主之工作中發榮滋長、蔚為大觀；固知爾在主中所有艱辛困苦、不為徒勞耳。

爾時吾見新天新地；蓋舊天舊地已逝、海亦杳然。

陰府及窅冥、均被擲於火池之中。火池者、即二次之死亡是已；

天下從此不復有災。天主及羔羊之寶座、永在邑中、諸僕奉事惟謹、

天地可廢、吾言不可廢也。

眾子既具血肉之體、聖子亦曾具血肉之體；其所以然者、乃欲通過死亡之關以滅彼掌握死權之沙殫、而救拔一切呻吟於死亡淫威下之生靈耳。

雖然、主日之臨、必突如其來、有若不速之客焉。當時諸天訇然而逝、物質之元素、溶解於烈火之中。大地及所載之萬彙、悉皆焚化。

人生如夢影。歲月同浮雲。浮雲瞬息逝。蹤跡不可尋。

用世當若遺世；蓋斯世之形形色色、皆如雲煙過眼、瞬即杳矣。

是故主囑爾等獨立特行、毅然離眾、而自成一群。『毋染一塵、吾必納爾。
