And the gates thereof shall in no wise be shut by day( for there shall be no night there):

其門白晝不閉、於彼蓋無夜也、

邑中不夜、門永弗閉、

邑中無夜、常為白晝、門永不閉、

晝不閉門、而斯邑固不夜城也。

On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there.

Its gates will never be shut, because there will be no night there.

and its gates will never be shut by day— and there will be no night there.

Its gates will never be closed at the end of day because there is no night there.

Its gates will never close by day because it will never be night there.

In the daytime( for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed;

Its gates shall not be shut at all by day( there shall be no night there).

And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

Its gates will in no way be shut by day( for there will be no night there),

Thy gates also shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the wealth of the nations, and their kings led captive.

And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

but it shall be one day which is known unto Jehovah; not day, and not night; but it shall come to pass, that at evening time there shall be light.

Thy sun shall no more go down, neither shall thy moon withdraw itself; for Jehovah will be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof is the Lamb.
