城门白昼总不关闭，在那里原没有黑夜。

从来没有人看见神，只有在父怀里的独生子将他表明出来。

那光是真光，照亮一切生在世上的人。

是照亮外邦人的光，又是你民以色列的荣耀。”

此后，我看见另有一位有大权柄的天使从天降下，地就因他的荣耀发光。

叫人都尊敬子如同尊敬父一样。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬差子来的父。

我因那光的荣耀不能看见，同行的人就拉着我手进了大马士革。

生命在他里头，这生命就是人的光。

人子要在他父的荣耀里，同着众使者降临；那时候，他要照各人的行为报应各人。
