在淫亂罪惡的世代，凡把我和我的道當作可恥的，人子在他父的榮耀裡，和聖天使一起降臨的時候，也必把他當作可恥的。”

城門白天決不關閉。在那裡並沒有黑夜。

從來沒有人見過神，只有在父懷裡的獨生子把他彰顯出來。

那光來到世界，是普照世人的真光。

為要作外族人啟示的光，和你民以色列的榮耀。”

這些事以後，我看見有另一位掌大權柄的天使，從天上降下來，他的榮光照亮了大地。

使所有的人尊敬子好像尊敬父一樣。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬那差他來的父。

因為那光太強烈，我的眼睛就瞎了，跟我在一起的人就牽著我的手，進了大馬士革。

在他裡面有生命（有些抄本第3、4節或譯：“萬有是藉著他造的，沒有一樣不是藉著他造的；凡被造的，都在他裡面有生命……”），這生命就是人的光。

耶和華起來，使大地震動的時候，人必進入石洞，進入土穴，躲避耶和華的驚嚇和他威嚴的榮光。

父啊，我在哪裡，願你賜給我的人也和我同在哪裡，讓他們看見你賜給我的榮耀，因為在創立世界以前，你已經愛我了。

這樣，當耶和華起來，大地震動的時候，他們就能進入磐石縫中和巖石隙裡，躲避耶和華的驚嚇和他威嚴的榮光。

要進入巖洞，藏在泥土中；躲避耶和華的驚嚇和他威嚴的榮光。

人子要在父的榮耀裡和眾天使一同降臨，那時他要照各人的行為報應各人。
