But who is able to build Him a temple, since heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him? Who am I then, that I should build Him a temple, except to burn sacrifice before Him?

“ But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!

The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:“ Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!”

saying:“ We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.

Jesus said to her,“ Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.

And I heard another from the altar saying,“ Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.”

Jesus answered and said to them,“ Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”Then the Jews said,“ It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”But He was speaking of the temple of His body.

And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

“ But will God indeed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!

They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:“ Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!

I and My Father are one.”

Then indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and the earthly sanctuary.For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary;and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All,which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services.But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance;the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience—concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

Thus says the Lord:“ Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest?

Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
