For we don’t have here an enduring city, but we seek that which is to come.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect.

Kings’ daughters are among your honorable women. At your right hand the queen stands in gold of Ophir.Listen, daughter, consider, and turn your ear. Forget your own people, and also your father’s house.So the king will desire your beauty, honor him, for he is your lord.The daughter of Tyre comes with a gift. If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy. For I married you to one husband, that I might present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. This, my joy, therefore is made full.

For your Maker is your husband; Yahweh of Armies is his name. The Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer. He will be called the God of the whole earth.

How the faithful city has become a prostitute! She was full of justice. Righteousness lodged in her, but now there are murderers.

For this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to the Jerusalem that exists now, for she is in bondage with her children.But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things which must happen soon, which he sent and made known by his angel to his servant, John,

You will not be called Forsaken any more, nor will your land be called Desolate any more; but you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for Yahweh delights in you, and your land will be married.

Leave out the court which is outside of the temple, and don’t measure it, for it has been given to the nations. They will tread the holy city under foot for forty- two months.

Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Yet again they will use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I reverse their captivity:‘ Yahweh bless you, habitation of righteousness, mountain of holiness.’

Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, on the north sides, the city of the great King.God has shown himself in her citadels as a refuge.

Glorious things are spoken about you, city of God. Selah.

Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Zion. Put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you.
