Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself for herto sanctify her by cleansing her with the washing of the water by the word,so that he may present the church to himself as glorious– not having a stain or wrinkle, or any such blemish, but holy and blameless.

For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy, because I promised you in marriage to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must happen very soon. He made it clear by sending his angel to his servant John,

You will no longer be called,“ Abandoned,” and your land will no longer be called“ Desolate.” Indeed, you will be called“ My Delight is in Her,” and your land“ Married.” For the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be married to him.

The LORD is great and certainly worthy of praise in the city of our God, his holy hill.It is lofty and pleasing to look at, a source of joy to the whole earth. Mount Zion resembles the peaks of Zaphon; it is the city of the great king.God is in its fortresses; he reveals himself as its defender.

People say wonderful things about you, O city of God.( Selah)

Wake up! Wake up! Clothe yourself with strength, O Zion! Put on your beautiful clothes, O Jerusalem, holy city! For uncircumcised and unclean pagans will no longer invade you.
