“看哪，我造新天新地！从前的事不再被记念，也不被人放在心上；当因我所造的欢喜快乐，直到永远；看哪，因为我造耶路撒冷为人所喜，造其中的居民为人所乐。我必因耶路撒冷欢喜，因我的百姓快乐，那里不再听见哭泣和哀号的声音。

但照他的应许，我们等候新天新地，其中有正义常住。

“我所造的新天新地在我面前长存，你们的后裔和你们的名号也必照样长存。这是耶和华说的。

但主的日子要像贼一样来到；那日，天必在轰然一声中消失，天体都要被烈火熔化，地和地上的万物都要烧尽。

我又看见一个白色的大宝座和那坐在上面的；天和地都从他面前逃避，再也找不到它们的位置了。

那位坐在宝座上的说：“看哪，我把一切都更新了！”他又说：“你要写下来，因为这些话是可信靠的，是真实的。”

到那日，耶和华必用他坚硬锐利的大刀惩罚力威亚探，就是那爬得快的蛇，惩罚力威亚探，就是那弯弯曲曲的蛇，并杀死海里的大鱼。

有四只巨兽从海里上来，它们各不相同：

但是恶人好像翻腾的海，不得平静；其中的水常涌出污秽和淤泥。

我又看见一只兽从海里上来，有十个角七个头；在十个角上戴着十个冠冕，七个头上有亵渎的名号。
