在罗得离开所多玛那天，烈火和硫磺从天而降，把他们全毁灭了。

信靠耶和华的人就像锡安山永不动摇。群山怎样环绕耶路撒冷，耶和华也怎样保护祂的子民，从现在直到永远。

因为有一天敌人要在你周围筑起壁垒把你团团围住，四面攻击你。

“你们看见耶路撒冷被重兵包围时，就知道它被毁灭的日子快到了。

求你眷顾你在古时所救赎的子民，你拣选为产业的族类，求你眷顾你所居住的锡安山。求你前去观看那久已荒凉之地，看看敌人对圣所的破坏。他们在你圣所中高声叫嚷，竖立起自己的旗帜。

焚烧之地——陀斐特早已为亚述王预备好了，那里又宽又深，堆着许多木柴，耶和华的气必如同一股硫磺火点燃那些木柴。

耶和华何等伟大！我们的上帝在祂的城中，在祂的圣山上当大受颂赞。北面的锡安山雄伟壮丽，令世人欢喜，是伟大君王的城。上帝在城内的宫中，祂亲自做这城的庇护。
