永恆主的話傳與我說：『人子啊，你要向瑪各地的歌革、米設土巴的人君領袖板着臉，傳神言攻擊他，說：主永恆主這麼說：米設土巴的人君領袖歌革啊，你看，我跟你為敵；我必調轉你，用鈎子鈎住你的腮頰，將你和你的全軍、馬匹馬兵、都帶出來，他們都穿着全副軍裝，一大團隊，有大牌小盾，都拿着刀劍；有波斯人、古實人、弗人、跟他們在一起，都拿着盾牌，戴着頭盔；歌篾人和他的部隊；北方極處陀迦瑪族和他的部隊——許多外族之民、都跟你在一起。『你要準備，你的各團隊、那聚集到你左右的、都要各自準備；你要做他們的護衛帥。過了許多年日、你必被點閱以服兵役；在末後之年、你必來攻那被收復脫離刀劍之地、那從許多外族之民招集來到之地；你必來攻以色列眾山、長期荒廢的山；但其人民、從許多外族之民中帶出來的、都在那裏安然居住呢。你必像狂風颳上來，像密雲集攏來遮蓋那地；你和你的全部隊、以及許多外族之民跟你一同來。『主永恆主這麼說：當那日子你心中必起了意念，想出壞計謀，說：「我要上去攻擊那無城牆的鄉村地；我要去攻擊那安然居住的安靜人；他們都住在沒有城牆的地方；門閂門扇都沒有」；我去要搶那可搶的，要劫那可劫的，要反手攻擊那從前荒廢、如今有人居住之地，攻擊那從列國中招聚回來、得了牲畜財物、住在地上臍心的人民。示巴人、底但人、他施商人和她的富豪都必問你說：「你來要搶那可搶的麼？你聚集團隊、要劫那可劫的麼？要搬運金銀，要奪取牲畜財物麼？要搶那大有可搶的麼？」『因此人子啊，你要傳神言，對歌革說：主永恆主這麼說：當我人民以色列安然居住的日子，你就必興奮激動起來，從你的地方、從北方之極處、而來，你和許多外族之民跟你一同來，都騎着馬，一大團隊，極多軍兵；你必上來攻擊我人民以色列，像密雲遮蓋那地。日後我必帶着你來攻擊我的地，歌革啊，到我在列國人眼前藉着你而彰顯為聖時，他們好認識我。『主永恆主這麼說；我在古時日子由我僕人以色列神言人們經手所說到的就是你；當那些年日以前他們曾傳神言說我要帶着你來攻以色列人。但主永恆主發神諭說：當歌革上來攻擊以色列地的日子，我的烈怒必在我臉上、沖上來。因為我懷着妒憤發震怒之火而宣說；當那日子以色列地必有大震動；甚至海中的魚、空中的飛鳥、田野的獸、和爬在地上的各樣爬行物、以及地上的眾人、也必因見了我的面而震動：眾山必崩下，陡巖必陷落，牆垣都必倒壞到平地。主永恆主發神諭說：我必呼喚刀劍在我的眾山上來攻擊歌革；各人的刀劍都必擊殺自己的弟兄。我必用瘟疫和流血的慘事來判罰他；我必下暴雨，又像下雨般地將大冰雹、火與硫磺下給他和他的部隊、以及跟隨他的許多外族民。我必彰顯為大，彰顯為聖，在許多國的人眼前讓人認識；他們就知道我乃是永恆主。『人子啊，你要傳神言攻擊歌革，說：主永恆主這麼說：米設土巴的人君領袖、歌革啊，你看，我跟你為敵；

故此竟從一個人、又是彷彿死了的、生出子孫來，像天上的星辰那麼眾多，像海濱的沙那麼無數。

你的人民以色列雖多如海沙，惟有其餘民必回；滅絕之事已經命定，滿有公義瀰漫着。

天上的萬象怎樣不能數算，海邊的沙怎樣不能斗量；我也必怎樣使我僕人大衛的後裔和伺候我的利未人增多繁殖。』

猶大人和以色列人很多，就像海邊的沙那麼多；他們都有的喫，有的喝，也都很快樂。

那時米甸人、亞瑪力人、和東方人散布在山谷中，像蝗蟲那麼多；他們的駱駝無數，就像海邊的沙那麼多。

非利士人聚集了來、要同以色列人交戰；有車三千輛，駿馬六千，步兵像海邊的沙那麼多；他們上來，在伯亞文東邊、密抹紮營。
