Then I saw thrones and seated on them were those who had been given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. These had not worshiped the beast or his image and had refused to receive his mark on their forehead or hand. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

我又見諸座、居其上者、得權以鞫人、又見因耶穌之證、及上帝之道、而被斬者之靈、與未拜獸及其像、未受其印誌於額於手者、彼皆得生、與基督共王千年、

我見數位居之者得以鞫人、昔有不拜獸、及獸像、其顙其手不受印誌、為耶穌言、及上帝道、見殺復生、與基督乘權一千年、

我見數座位、有坐之者、得審判之權、其為耶穌之證及天主道被殺之人、未拜獸與獸像、於額與手未受獸印誌者、我見其靈魂、彼皆復活、與基督同王一千年、

時見王位數席、居其位者、受審判之權；又見諸為耶穌妙證、天主聖道、而致命者之靈魂、及生前未拜獸及厥像、且未受其印誌於顙或手者之靈魂。若輩至此復活而與基督乘權千載；

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

They had been killed because they had spoken what was true about Jesus. They had also been killed because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its statue. They had not received its mark on their foreheads or hands. They came to life and ruled with Christ for 1,000 years.

Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for proclaiming the word of God. Then the kingdom, authority, and greatness of the kingdoms under all of heaven will be delivered to the people of the holy ones of the Most High. His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; all authorities will serve him and obey him.’

Jesus said to them,“ I tell you the truth: In the age when all things are renewed, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

The holy ones of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will take possession of the kingdom forever and ever.’

until the Ancient of Days arrived and judgment was rendered in favor of the holy ones of the Most High. Then the time came for the holy ones to take possession of the kingdom.

If we endure, we will also reign with him. If we deny him, he will also deny us.

Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you not competent to settle trivial suits?Do you not know that we will judge angels? Why not ordinary matters!

Now when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been violently killed because of the word of God and because of the testimony they had given.

I will grant the one who conquers permission to sit with me on my throne, just as I too conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

“ While I was watching, thrones were set up, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His attire was white like snow; the hair of his head was like lamb’s wool. His throne was ablaze with fire and its wheels were all aflame.

They were singing a new song:“ You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were killed, and at the cost of your own blood you have purchased for God persons from every tribe, language, people, and nation.You have appointed them as a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”

that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Blessed and holy is the one who takes part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.

Night will be no more, and they will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.

I, John, your brother and the one who shares with you in the persecution, kingdom, and endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony about Jesus.

And if children, then heirs( namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ)– if indeed we suffer with him so we may also be glorified with him.

In the days of those kings the God of heaven will raise up an everlasting kingdom that will not be destroyed and a kingdom that will not be left to another people. It will break in pieces and bring about the demise of all these kingdoms. But it will stand forever.

But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.

When they have completed their testimony, the beast that comes up from the abyss will make war on them and conquer them and kill them.

Look, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the LORD arrives.

The disciples asked him,“ Why then do the experts in the law say that Elijah must come first?”He answered,“ Elijah does indeed come first and will restore all things.And I tell you that Elijah has already come. Yet they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted. In the same way, the Son of Man will suffer at their hands.”Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them about John the Baptist.

So the king sent an executioner at once to bring John’s head, and he went and beheaded John in prison.

Now Herod the tetrarch heard about everything that was happening, and he was thoroughly perplexed, because some people were saying that John had been raised from the dead,while others were saying that Elijah had appeared, and still others that one of the prophets of long ago had risen.Herod said,“ I had John beheaded, but who is this about whom I hear such things?” So Herod wanted to learn about Jesus.

Then many will be led into sin, and they will betray one another and hate one another.

And he will go as forerunner before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared for him.”

And I will grant my two witnesses authority to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.

The beast you saw was, and is not, but is about to come up from the abyss and then go to destruction. The inhabitants of the earth– all those whose names have not been written in the book of life since the foundation of the world– will be astounded when they see that the beast was, and is not, but is to come.

And the smoke from their torture will go up forever and ever, and those who worship the beast and his image will have no rest day or night, along with anyone who receives the mark of his name.”

But after three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and tremendous fear seized those who were watching them.

For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

Then they asked him,“ Why do the experts in the law say that Elijah must come first?”

But when Herod heard this, he said,“ John, whom I beheaded, has been raised!”

He exercised all the ruling authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and those who inhabit it worship the first beast, the one whose lethal wound had been healed.He performed momentous signs, even making fire come down from heaven in front of peopleand, by the signs he was permitted to perform on behalf of the beast, he deceived those who live on the earth. He told those who live on the earth to make an image to the beast who had been wounded by the sword, but still lived.The second beast was empowered to give life to the image of the first beast so that it could speak, and could cause all those who did not worship the image of the beast to be killed.He also caused everyone( small and great, rich and poor, free and slave) to obtain a mark on their right hand or on their forehead.Thus no one was allowed to buy or sell things unless he bore the mark of the beast– that is, his name or his number.

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying:“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.”

In a little while the world will not see me any longer, but you will see me; because I live, you will live too.

Then I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had conquered the beast and his image and the number of his name. They were standing by the sea of glass, holding harps given to them by God.
