Then I saw thrones, and people seated on them who were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

我又見諸座、居其上者、得權以鞫人、又見因耶穌之證、及上帝之道、而被斬者之靈、與未拜獸及其像、未受其印誌於額於手者、彼皆得生、與基督共王千年、

我見數位居之者得以鞫人、昔有不拜獸、及獸像、其顙其手不受印誌、為耶穌言、及上帝道、見殺復生、與基督乘權一千年、

我見數座位、有坐之者、得審判之權、其為耶穌之證及天主道被殺之人、未拜獸與獸像、於額與手未受獸印誌者、我見其靈魂、彼皆復活、與基督同王一千年、

時見王位數席、居其位者、受審判之權；又見諸為耶穌妙證、天主聖道、而致命者之靈魂、及生前未拜獸及厥像、且未受其印誌於顙或手者之靈魂。若輩至此復活而與基督乘權千載；

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

I saw thrones. Those who had been given authority to judge were sitting on them. I also saw the souls of those whose heads had been cut off. They had been killed because they had spoken what was true about Jesus. They had also been killed because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its statue. They had not received its mark on their foreheads or hands. They came to life and ruled with Christ for 1,000 years.

Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. Jesus said to them,“ Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

But the holy ones of the Most High will receive the kingdom and possess it forever, yes, forever and ever.’

until the Ancient of Days arrived and a judgment was given in favor of the holy ones of the Most High, for the time had come, and the holy ones took possession of the kingdom.

if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he will also deny us;

Or don’t you know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the trivial cases?Don’t you know that we will judge angels— how much more matters of this life?

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slaughtered because of the word of God and the testimony they had given.

“ To the one who conquers I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

“ As I kept watching, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was white like snow, and the hair of his head like whitest wool. His throne was flaming fire; its wheels were blazing fire.

And they sang a new song: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered, and you purchased people for God by your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation.You made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth.

so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom. And you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.

Night will be no more; people will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light, and they will reign forever and ever.

I, John, your brother and partner in the affliction, kingdom, and endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

and if children, also heirs— heirs of God and coheirs with Christ— if indeed we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.

“ In the days of those kings, the God of the heavens will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, and this kingdom will not be left to another people. It will crush all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, but will itself endure forever.

They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; for they did not love their lives to the point of death.

When they finish their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war on them, conquer them, and kill them.

Look, I am going to send you the prophet Elijah before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes.

So the disciples asked him,“ Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”“ Elijah is coming and will restore everything,” he replied.“ But I tell you: Elijah has already come, and they didn’t recognize him. On the contrary, they did whatever they pleased to him. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.”Then the disciples understood that he had spoken to them about John the Baptist.

The king immediately sent for an executioner and commanded him to bring John’s head. So he went and beheaded him in prison,

Herod the tetrarch heard about everything that was going on. He was perplexed, because some said that John had been raised from the dead,some that Elijah had appeared, and others that one of the ancient prophets had risen.“ I beheaded John,” Herod said,“ but who is this I hear such things about?” And he wanted to see him.

Then many will fall away, betray one another, and hate one another.

And he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the disobedient to the understanding of the righteous, to make ready for the Lord a prepared people.”

I will grant my two witnesses authority to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.”

The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up from the abyss and go to destruction. Those who live on the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast that was, and is not, and is to come.

and the smoke of their torment will go up forever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or anyone who receives the mark of its name.

But after three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet. Great fear fell on those who saw them.

For if their rejection brings reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?

Then they asked him,“ Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”

When Herod heard of it, he said,“ John, the one I beheaded, has been raised!”

It exercises all the authority of the first beast on its behalf and compels the earth and those who live on it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed.It also performs great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in front of people.It deceives those who live on the earth because of the signs that it is permitted to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who live on the earth to make an image of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.It was permitted to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast could both speak and cause whoever would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.And it makes everyone— small and great, rich and poor, free and slave— to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead,so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark: the beast’s name or the number of its name.

The seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.

In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Because I live, you will live too.

I also saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had won the victory over the beast, its image, and the number of its name, were standing on the sea of glass with harps from God.
