你曾看见的兽，以前有，现在没有，将来要从无底坑里上来，又归于沉沦。凡住在地上、名字从创世以来没有记在生命册上的人看见那只兽都要诧异，因为它以前有，现在没有，以后再有。

这不法的人来，是靠撒但的运作，行各样的异能、神迹和一切虚假的奇事，并且在那沉沦的人身上行各样不义的诡诈，因为他们不领受爱真理的心，好让他们得救。故此，上帝就给他们一个引发错误的心，叫他们信从虚谎，

他们本是鬼魔的灵，施行奇事，到普天下众王那里去，召集他们在全能者上帝的大日子作战。看哪，我来像贼一样。那警醒、穿着衣服的人有福了；他不至于赤身而行，给人看见他的羞耻。于是，那三个鬼魔把众王聚集在希伯来话叫作哈米吉多顿的地方。

那样的人是假使徒，行事诡诈，装作基督的使徒。这也不足为奇，因为连撒但也装作光明的天使。所以，他的差役若装作公义的差役也没有什么大不了。他们的结局必然跟他们的行为相符。

在你看来，千年如已过的昨日，又如夜间的一更。

我只怕你们的心偏邪了，失去那向基督所献诚恳贞洁的心，就像蛇用诡诈诱惑了夏娃一样。

它得了权柄在第一只兽面前能行奇事，迷惑住在地上的人，告诉他们要为那受过刀伤还活着的兽造个像。

亲爱的，有一件事你们不可忘记，就是：主看一日如千年，千年如一日。
