於是，他們帶著衛兵去，用印封上墓口的石頭，嚴密看守墳墓。

當那一千年完結了，撒旦就要從它的監禁中被釋放出來。它將出去迷惑在大地四角中的列國，就是歌革和瑪各，召集他們參與戰爭；他們的人數多如海沙。他們上來布滿了寬闊的大地，包圍了聖徒的營地，就是那蒙愛的城。可是有火從天上降下來，吞滅了他們。然後那迷惑他們的魔鬼被丟進烈火和硫磺的湖裡，就是那獸和那假先知所在的地方；他們將日夜受折磨，直到永永遠遠。

你所看見的那獸，先前在而現今不在，並將要從無底坑裡上來，然後走向滅亡。住在地上的人，凡是名字從創世以來沒有被記在生命冊上的，看見那先前在而現今不在，並將要出現的獸時，都會感到驚奇。

這不法之人的到來，是出於撒旦的作為，對那些正在滅亡的人，使用一切能力、虛假的神蹟和奇事，並且使用一切不義的詭計，因為他們不接受那能使他們得救的真理之愛。為此，神就把一種迷惑人的力量送進他們裡面，使他們相信虛假之事，

其實它們是鬼魔的靈，能行奇蹟；它們出去到普天下的眾君王那裡，召集他們參與神、全能者大日子的戰爭。「看哪，我要來臨，就像賊來臨那樣！那警醒並保持衣著在身，免得赤身行走被人看見他羞處的，這樣的人是蒙福的。」於是，那些鬼魔的靈把眾君王都召集到一個地方；希伯來語叫做「哈米吉多頓」。

因為這樣的人是假使徒，是詭詐的工人，他們裝做基督的使徒。這並不足為奇，原來撒旦自己也裝做光明的天使；所以，即使他的僕人把自己裝做義的僕人，也不足為怪；他們的結局必然照著他們的行為。

在你的眼中，千年如已過的昨日，又如夜間的一更。

可是我擔心，恐怕你們的思想受到敗壞，離開對基督的忠實和貞潔，就像蛇用牠的詭計欺騙了夏娃那樣。

藉著那些奇蹟，就是牠被准許在第一隻獸面前所行的奇蹟，牠就迷惑了住在地上的人，告訴住在地上的人，要為那受刀傷卻活過來的獸，造一個像。

因為假基督們和假先知們會出現，行大神蹟和奇事，如果有可能，甚至迷惑那些蒙揀選的人。

地上的眾君王曾與她行淫亂，住在地上的人也喝醉了她淫亂的酒。」

可是，各位蒙愛的人哪，你們不可忽略這一點：在主看來，一日如千年，千年如一日。
