我又看見一位天使從天而降，手裡拿著無底坑的鑰匙和一條大鎖鏈。

牠和牠的天使都一同從天上被摔到地上。巨龍就是那古蛇，又名魔鬼或撒旦，也就是那迷惑全人類的。

他們就帶著衛兵去了，在墓口的石頭上貼上封條，派人看守墓穴。

那一千年過後，撒旦會從被監禁的地方得到釋放。牠會再度欺騙天下各國，就是歌革和瑪各，叫他們召集軍隊準備打仗，軍隊的數目多如海沙。他們傾巢而出，佈滿大地，將聖徒的陣營和上帝所愛的城團團圍住。那時烈火從天而降，燒滅了他們。那欺騙他們的魔鬼被扔進了怪獸和假先知所待的硫磺火湖中，在那裡晝夜受苦，直到永永遠遠！

你看見的這怪獸以前出現過，現今沒有出現，將來要從無底坑上來，然後走向滅亡。那些住在地上、自創世以來名字沒有記在生命冊上的人，都因見到這只從前出現過、現今沒有出現、將來會再出現的怪獸而感到驚奇。

他來要按照撒旦的伎倆行各樣虛假的異能、神蹟和奇事，用盡各樣詭計欺騙那些將要滅亡的人，因為他們不喜歡接受那能拯救他們的真理。上帝就讓他們是非不辨，去相信那些虛假的謊言，

其實牠們都是鬼魔的靈，能行奇蹟。牠們到普天下召集各王，預備在全能上帝的大日子來臨時聚集爭戰。「看啊！我要像賊一樣出其不意地來到。那警醒等候，看守自己衣裳，不致赤身行走蒙受羞辱的人有福了。」鬼魔把眾王召集到一個希伯來話叫哈米吉多頓的地方。

其實這些人是假使徒，為人詭詐，冒充基督的使徒。這不足為奇，因為連撒旦都裝成光明的天使，牠的爪牙若冒充公義的僕人，又何足為奇呢？他們最終必得到應得的報應。

在你眼中，千年如一日，又如夜裡的一更。

但我真怕你們會像被狡猾的蛇欺騙的夏娃一樣，思想受迷惑，失去了對基督純真專一的心。

牠在頭一隻怪獸面前獲准行奇蹟，欺騙了普世的人，並吩咐他們為受了刀傷卻仍然活著的頭一隻怪獸塑像。

因為假基督和假先知將出現，行很大的神蹟奇事來迷惑人，如果可能，甚至要迷惑上帝揀選的子民。

地上的君王與她行淫，地上其他人也因喝了她淫亂的酒而酩酊大醉。」

親愛的弟兄姊妹，有一件事你們不可忽略，就是主看一日如千年，千年如一日。
