and the angels who did not keep their own position but abandoned their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains in deep darkness for the judgment on the great day.

Now is the judgment of this world. Now the ruler of this world will be cast out.

Now since the children have flesh and blood in common, Jesus also shared in these, so that through his death he might destroy the one holding the power of death— that is, the devil—

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields because of my name will receive a hundred times more and will inherit eternal life.

and about judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

And he cried out with a loud voice,“ What do you have to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you before God, don’t torment me!”

If I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.When a strong man, fully armed, guards his estate, his possessions are secure.But when one stronger than he attacks and overpowers him, he takes from him all his weapons he trusted in, and divides up his plunder.

The LORD asked Satan,“ Where have you come from?”“ From roaming through the earth,” Satan answered him,“ and walking around on it.”

Can the prey be taken from a mighty man, or the captives of a tyrant be delivered?For this is what the LORD says:“ Even the captives of a mighty man will be taken, and the prey of a tyrant will be delivered; I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your children.

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Suddenly they shouted,“ What do you have to do with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”

One day the sons of God came again to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them to present himself before the LORD.The LORD asked Satan,“ Where have you come from?”“ From roaming through the earth,” Satan answered him,“ and walking around on it.”

Be sober-minded, be alert. Your adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour.

I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.

The beast I saw was like a leopard, its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority.

When the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who had given birth to the male child.

So the dragon was furious with the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring— those who keep the commands of God and hold firmly to the testimony about Jesus.

They had as their king the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he has the name Apollyon.

They worshiped the dragon because he gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying,“ Who is like the beast? Who is able to wage war against it?”

From his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river flowing after the woman, to sweep her away with a flood.
