‘ Whoever has ears should listen to what the Holy Spirit says to the churches. Here is what I will do for anyone who has victory over sin. I will let that person eat from the tree of life in God’s paradise.’

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

“ Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give fruit from the tree of life in the paradise of God.

Then God’s people will shine like the sun in their Father’s kingdom. Whoever has ears should listen.

“ Blessed are those who wash their robes. They will have the right to come to the tree of life. They will be allowed to go through the gates into the city.

‘ Here is what I will do for anyone who has victory over sin. I will give that person the right to sit with me on my throne. In the same way, I had victory. Then I sat down with my Father on his throne.Whoever has ears should listen to what the Holy Spirit says to the churches.’ ”

Here is what I will do for anyone who has victory over sin. I will make that person a pillar in the temple of my God. They will never leave it again. I will write the name of my God on them. I will write the name of the city of my God on them. This is the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God. I will also write my new name on them.Whoever has ears should listen to what the Holy Spirit says to the churches.’

It flowed down the middle of the city’s main street. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing 12 crops of fruit. Its fruit was ripe every month. The leaves of the tree bring healing to the nations.

The Lord God made every kind of tree grow out of the ground. The trees were pleasing to look at. Their fruit was good to eat. There were two trees in the middle of the garden. One of them had fruit that let people live forever. The other had fruit that let people tell the difference between good and evil.

Jesus answered him,“ What I’m about to tell you is true. Today you will be with me in paradise.”

Here is what I will do for anyone who has victory over sin. I will dress that person in white like those worthy people. I will never erase their names from the book of life. I will speak of them by name to my Father and his angels.Whoever has ears should listen to what the Holy Spirit says to the churches.’

‘ Here is what I will do for anyone who has victory over sin. I will do it for anyone who carries out my plans to the end. I will give that person authority over the nations.It is written,“ They will rule them with an iron scepter. They will break them to pieces like clay pots.”( Psalm 2:9) Their authority is like the authority I’ve received from my Father.I will also give the morning star to all who have victory.Whoever has ears should listen to what the Holy Spirit says to the churches.’

Those who have victory will receive all this from me. I will be their God, and they will be my children.

The Lord God said,“ Just like one of us, the man can now tell the difference between good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out and pick fruit from the tree of life and eat it. If he does, he will live forever.”So the Lord God drove the man out of the Garden of Eden. He sent the man to farm the ground he had been made from.The Lord God drove him out and then placed angels on the east side of the garden. He also placed there a flaming sword that flashed back and forth. The angels and the sword guarded the way to the tree of life.

God has shown these things to us through his Spirit. The Spirit understands all things. He understands even the deep things of God.

Nothing outside of a person can make them‘ unclean’ by going into them. It is what comes out of them that makes them‘ unclean.’ ”

“ I have told you these things, so that you can have peace because of me. In this world you will have trouble. But be encouraged! I have won the battle over the world.”

That’s because everyone who is a child of God has won the battle over the world. Our faith has won the battle for us.Who is it that has won the battle over the world? Only the person who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

The Holy Spirit and the bride say,“ Come!” And the person who hears should say,“ Come!” Anyone who is thirsty should come. Anyone who wants to take the free gift of the water of life should do so.

The fruit that godly people bear is like a tree of life. And those who are wise save lives.

You were in Eden. It was my garden. All kinds of jewels decorated you. Here is a list of them: carnelian, chrysolite and emerald, topaz, onyx and jasper, lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made out of gold. On the day you were created, they were prepared.

Hope that is put off makes one sick at heart. But a desire that is met is like a tree of life.

Then I heard a voice from heaven.“ Write this,” it said.“ Blessed are the dead who die as believers in the Lord from now on.”“ Yes,” says the Holy Spirit.“ They will rest from their labor. What they have done will not be forgotten.”

he was taken up to paradise. He heard things there that couldn’t be put into words. They were things that no one is allowed to talk about.

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven. It said,“ Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God have come. The authority of his Messiah has come. Satan, who brings charges against our brothers and sisters, has been thrown down. He brings charges against them in front of our God day and night.They had victory over him by the blood the Lamb spilled for them. They had victory over him by speaking the truth about Jesus to others. They were willing to risk their lives, even if it led to death.

Then I saw something that looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire. Standing beside the sea were those who had won the battle over the beast. They had also overcome its statue and the number of its name. They held harps given to them by God.

She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her. Those who hold her close will be blessed.

The cedar trees in my garden were no match for it. The juniper trees could not equal its limbs. The plane trees could not compare with its branches. No tree in my garden could match its beauty.

There are different kinds of gifts. But they are all given to believers by the same Spirit.There are different ways to serve. But they all come from the same Lord.There are different ways the Spirit works. But the same God is working in all these ways and in all people.The Holy Spirit is given to each of us in a special way. That is for the good of all.To some people the Spirit gives a message of wisdom. To others the same Spirit gives a message of knowledge.To others the same Spirit gives faith. To others that one Spirit gives gifts of healing.To others he gives the power to do miracles. To others he gives the ability to prophesy. To others he gives the ability to tell the spirits apart. To others he gives the ability to speak in different kinds of languages they had not known before. And to still others he gives the ability to explain what was said in those languages.All the gifts are produced by one and the same Spirit. He gives gifts to each person, just as he decides.There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ.

A tongue that calms is like a tree of life. But a tongue that tells lies produces a broken spirit.
