that one‘ will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’— just as I have received authority from my Father.

It is written,“ They will rule them with an iron scepter. They will break them to pieces like clay pots.”( Psalm 2:9) Their authority is like the authority I’ve received from my Father.

They will rule the nations with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots.

and he will rule them with an iron scepter; he will shatter them like pottery—

and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are shattered, as I also have received authority from My Father;

‘ He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’— as I also have received from My Father;

From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.

Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds.Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands,to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples,to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron,to execute on them the judgment written!
