I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.

‘ I know what you are doing. I know your love and your faith. I know how well you have served. I know you don’t give up easily. In fact, you are doing more now than you did at first.

“‘ I know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first.

I know your works— your love, faithfulness, service, and endurance. I know that your last works are greater than the first.

‘ I know your deeds, and your love and faith, and service and perseverance, and that your deeds of late are greater than at first.

“ I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.

I know thy works, and thy love and faith and ministry and patience, and that thy last works are more than the first.

I know your works— your love, faithfulness, service, and endurance. Your last works are greater than the first.

I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last[ to be] more than the first.

‘ I know your deeds: your love, faith, service, and steadfast endurance. In fact, your more recent deeds are greater than your earlier ones.

“ I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first.

The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith.

“ I know all the things you do. I have seen your hard work and your patient endurance. I know you don’t tolerate evil people. You have examined the claims of those who say they are apostles but are not. You have discovered they are liars.You have patiently suffered for me without quitting.“ But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!

Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.

and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.

He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.

Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.

But now Timothy has just returned, bringing us good news about your faith and love. He reports that you always remember our visit with joy and that you want to see us as much as we want to see you.

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.

Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proudor rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!

Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.

The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger.

“ I know that you live in the city where Satan has his throne, yet you have remained loyal to me. You refused to deny me even when Antipas, my faithful witness, was martyred among you there in Satan’s city.

The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.

“ I know about your suffering and your poverty— but you are rich! I know the blasphemy of those opposing you. They say they are Jews, but they are not, because their synagogue belongs to Satan.
